I don't know how someone arrived at that valuation, but if Graham keeps on scoring a goal every other game, he's worth 3m at least. Roll on January and let the bidding commence.
In hindsight, I would agree with a higher valuation (though I did say £1.8m minimum at the time. It's just that I found it ridiculous that some people were poo-pooing even £1.8m for him as being unrealistically high.
I would most likely say, what are the odds on him not scoring another 5 goals this season? Can't see him continue the scoring rate, especially as he is meant to be a confidence player and has history of repeating this at Carlisle. If the great service from Cleverly goes in Jan, he will struggle.
Could be a self-fulfilling prophecy if fans get on his back, if he has a dry spell as all strikers do.
Sir Lloyd now 38:sign15: That's ahead of people like: Lita, Doris, Alan Smith, Lilly Savage, Beattie.....
He is miles away from the other strikers, even though he is 6 goals behind. Must be doing a hell of a lot in terms of running, tackling, passing or whatever.
This news is a double edged sword, as I'm sure none of us want to lose him, but unless we can raise funds elsewhere, I'd say Danny could be going in January as this rating must make him one of our most saleable assets :dismay:
