never won an accumulator but came close today

7 games, 6 wins and 1 loss, had brechin beaten arbroath i would of won £79.66 on a 50p stake. not bad.

On the day of our cup game vs Chelski i'd got 6 out of 8 and then Chelsea made it 7 out of 8 but runaway (at the time) leaders Leicester could only draw against fecking Wallsall, they cost me alot of money from a £2 stake.

Leicester failed to win to for me as well months back in my accumulator as i got the other 7 correct, would have won £400 for a £4 stake :rant:

start of last year i think, and i still got the text from him about an accumulator he had that would of won him £10,552.

12 teams, 9 won 3 drew, not 1 team lost.

id be kicking myself!

 

I missed out on over £1000 for a £10 stake a couple of years back on a season-long 10 leg accumulator that floundered entirely on Rangers winning the SPL rather than Celtic :dismay:

 

Predicted all the UEFA games at one point. £1 stake, would have got near £100,000 however had Bayern to beat Bolton which was one of Megsons first games in charge I believe. They drew. The rest came in :rant:

 

Won on a couple of 5 match ones this year. If your doing long ones worth putting folds in etc.

 

Use Coral, easy slips to use...however despite wasting £1 once every two weeks (on average) i'm yet to win! I always put an unlikely one in to get better returns but it hasn't paid off yet...one day though...surely?

Also tend to use league one and two sides - better value than the prem (but less predictable as a result)

 

always good to mix up the matches, so stick arsenal in with teams like derby, huddersfield, exeter etc.

better chance of winning and also higher payouts.

also will hill do bonuses if you win, not to sure what they are though.

 

did an accumaltor for the internationals, wales couldnt beat finland and mk dons could beat leeds and that was 40k out the window on a 2 quid stake

 

I've won about £40 on an accy before - I'd chose a few UEFA Cup games without really knowing much about some of the teams but it came in. Nice little earner.

 

had a spare £1.50 on william hill account this evening so was looking at a few. Decided to put the last 50p on an accumulator with both champions league games and all 3 championship games as draws. Came out as 500/1. 4 came in, the other one was Sheff U 2-1 Barnsley with barnsley missing a pen!:dismay:

 

Mine failed spectacularly tonight.

 

the odds on draws are normally 2/1+, it is always worth perming draws. You could have done 4 from 5, 3 from five. and a small accy.

I often perm 5 from 7 draws for small 20p x 21 bets. The amount of times i get 4 up is uncanny, should change the bet but I'm greedy.

 

Betted on 11 games a few weeks ago that would have netted me over £100,000

Did it for a laugh really as I put St Mirren to beat Celtic and they lost 7-0 :]]

 

If you can throw in a few League of Ireland games into the accumulator, do. The results can be so predictable at times.

yeah, my corners and booking bet went up the swanny - booking were fine in the rum game, just the sorner count in manure and brum game were poor. expected much more.

Finished considerably up on footy betting last season but this season started as a disaster. Felt at one point that if I'd bet on the sun to rise the next day the world would've ended that night! So eased off on the gambling for a while.

When it comes to accys, fact is its always 1 or 2 games that let you down (normally one you had down as a dead cert). I always found I was quite good at spotting good odds for potential 'surprises' but then a 'favourite' would let me down. As has been covered on here before, if you know what your doing theres ways of improving your chances, but at the end of the day...the bookie always wins!
