Cameras will face the Rous Stand on Saturday. Why has it taken so long enough for somebody to see sense?
I'm not sure about this. The East Stand is to low down and i think that the camera angle will be to low. But, We will have to wait and see.
Gonna be good that a wider audience sees the Rous. The East stand is all but defunct now apart from housing the suits... For me, this is a brilliant idea.... I've taken a few mates to a couple of home games recently and I still get (good natured) stick in the office about the state of the ground
Not sure exactly what they're planning but if was a day game then the camera's would have to be in the Rous stand because of the sunlight that goes directly into the East stand.
everyone in the rous - smile & wave for the cameras!!! suppose the call for wearing yellow now applies for the telly as the stand will be in constant view
They did it for the rugby a while back, does anyone happen to know where there's any footage of that?
found this on youtube, poor quality but you get a good view of what it looks like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tMzlKR67h8
at least with their nice long lenses they'll be able to count the number of prawns in the sandwiches! Ps..sun into the east wouldn't matter that much...the Engineers are all experienced in putting in filters (nd) and stopping the camera down a stop or two (my living!)
I was speaking to my friend last night who works for the Express. He was telling me about the camera move. They have also had to move the press people down from the back of the East stand otherwise their view will be blocked.
about time, its somewhat embarrasing to look at the championship on a sunday morning with our ****** lookig ground on view
After being at the match i skipped through the game on setanta when i got home and the camera angle looks good apart from its really low
