It's probably bull****. Why would Villa take a chance on a guy who's been injured for pretty much the whole season?
Apparently the Pozzos are sending us Loof Lirpa as a replacement though. Apparently he's meant to be quite good.
While I accept we have a 24 hour culture in many parts of the UK i'm pretty sure the Birmingham Mail isn't released for sale at 1 in the morning
Very disappointing but the Pozzo's are probably the first owners we've had in ages who won't be fooled by low offers. Hopefully we'll do well out of this one.
Newspapers get printed and released long before they are on general sale. I used to start work at 4AM putting papers together in the newsagent when I was 13 (the non-tabloids come to the newsagents in pieces and need to be combined by hand).
none of you understand the pozzo model we dont sell players cheaply anymore we buy them cheap and sell them expensive and then buy more cheap players thats how the pozzos operate get used to it COYHS
The depressing thing is I could actually see a very similiar headline to this at some point during the summer.
Nothing will beat a few years ago when someone photo shopped the club website and created an article about how Kier have found huge foundation problems underneath the Rookery meaning that home games will have to be played at other grounds until further notice. Believed that for a good few hours and even text a few mates about it haha! Class.
DON'T SELL ABDI.... ALMEN ABDI... I JUST DON'T THINK YOU UNDERSTAND... IF YOU SELL ABDI... ALMEN ABDI... YOU'RE GONNA HAVE A RIOT ON YOUR HANDS!!! (Finally I can use this song!)
The best local wind up (altho' not Hornets related) was the Sarratt Treacle Mines. I actually got an Email from Ollie Phillips asking if it was true! http://www.bbc.co.uk/legacies/myths_legends/england/beds_herts_bucks/user_1_article_1.shtml
