Cruising against Cardiff and heading for 3 point's only to throw 2 of them away, and then to miss a penalty against Wolves, who we were all over at this point and having come from behind twice i believe would have killed them off. We have thrown away 5 points in two games becasue of stupid mistakes. those 5 points would have put us right up there and taken the pressure off the team. I hate to go back to the good old days od Aidys first season, but the team would have been more dicaplined and seen made the most of both oppotuities and seen out both games
It's just oue defence. The move at the weekend that Rasiak's header smashed the bar was sublime, so we have no lack of talent in that dept. We need a left back on-loan and urgently!
All the defence needs is a bit of confidence, and someone 6ft plus. We'd be OK with Ward, Demerit/Bromby, Mariappa and Sadler if they were on form, and perhaps more to the point - fully fit.
10 points if you include Reading and Burnley away. We would be in the play off positions, so we're not that far from being a good team. Aren't we?
