A reason for no new signings?

IMO the reason we did not make any new signings before the window closed is just another cost saving exercise!!!!

We do not have a match until Saturday 12th September, so why pay approx 2 weeks more wages than we need to. Plus as they are probably going to be loan signings (we could get out of contract players of course) we get an extra couple of weeks of them actually playing for us!!!

 

Nothing to do with the fact that several targets chose to go elsewhere then?

 

I'm sure that happened as well, but KJ is adamant that we have signed 3 new players, so I am offering my theory as to what he might be referring to. Note I have put a ? in the thread title.

 

We haven't signed anyone FACT.

The window re opens for Loans next week, until then we have no one arriving.

Now Stuart Goddard is Adam Ant and he's a pisshead, that's probably the only similarity between him and kJ.
