A new club moving to Watford?

    Here's my wishlist:

    1. We don't get in the premier league this season.
    2. We get relegated to League One next season.
    3. Another team moves somewhere near Watford.
    4. All the mugs on here who constatntly slag off everything about WFC start supporting that new club or the team they really support in the Premier League but can't afford to go and see.
    5. Me and my mates go to Vicarage Road with a few thousand less hangers-on and truly support our team.
    That would be class.

And he was "truly Supporting the Hornets with his mates " today then? Guess not...probably can't get the social to stump up for away trips, so hung about south oxhey with his bottle of white lightning and his "mates"

We really need supporters like u don't we?

No probs ... we'll do it next year. I mainly want it to secure the finances of the club and progress.

    2. We get relegated to League One next season.

No point as LT will still be in league 2.

    3. Another team moves somewhere near Watford.

Land in Herts is too expensive unless Chelsea decide to leave London.

    4. All the mugs on here who constantly slag off everything about WFC start supporting that new club or the team they really support in the Premier League but can't afford to go and see.

New fans are the lifeblood of any club, most on here have only one love, constructive criticism is not slagging off.

    5. Me and my mates go to Vicarage Road with a few thousand less hangers-on and truly support our team.

Less fans = less atmosphere (which TBH has been improving of late).

no offense mean't Dan...Just don't like To$$ers thinking that they are "true" or better supporters than others....Are the 1200 or so Hornets who actually went to Plymouth today and "Supported" the lads true supporters or hangers on??

If I'm a hanger on then someone cut me free, because i've been doing it since 1975... :p

    Spot on ...

Supporting a club ranges from reading the match report on Sunday to the Geezer with that Tats and the Huge Hat/Bell at Pompey.

no worries mate, t'was joking ;) *cough* **** *cough* :]]

i know what you mean, the "im a true fan because i kiss boothroyds arse and never criticise the team" 'ollocks realy annoys me. Im only 17 yet iv missed about 5 games home and away this season, and cant remember the last home game i have missed...does that make me a "true fan" or a "hanger on" cause i didn't go today?? :]]

Did you buy all your own tickets, or does Dad pay?

It's not so easy to be such a "true fan" when you work alternate weekends, have a mortgage and a son at uni.

i wasn't having a dig at anyone at all...i believe i said that no fan is better than anyone else!? it was if anything, a dig at the creator of the thread who was having a go at people criticising the team??

and i don't pay for home games, i work at the club so get in for free. away games i pay for half of them, don't see how thats relevant but as you asked the question.

    I was only joking!

I just said "watch me poke the WFC Forum monkeys with a stick" to a mate and that is what came out in the thread.

Hope you enjoyed having a new hate figure to all have a go at for a while.
I did notice that a few of you used this thread to have a pop at each other though, so it's nice that it allowed some bonding to go on.

Now we can all go back to slagging off the players, tactics, coaches, management and board.
    Normal service is resumed.
