Why dont they on sundays, have tours of the ground?? All the other clubs have them, it wouldnt be particularly long but im sure someone with a wealth of knowledge could tell a few stories on the way round. You've got the dressing rooms, exectutive boxes and other places you dont get to see
They used to do them. I went on a tour of Vicarage road way back around 1995 for a mates birthday party, as it came part of the package. I'd love to do it again as I was too young to understand any of the facts that were being mentioned. We then played a quick 5 a side match in the concourse of the lower rous, ahh what a day.
I went on one during pre-season of 06/07. Premierleague trophy was there that day and I directed Danny Shittu to the players lounge as he was lost looking for where to get his fit fitted
It would cost to have people in and around the club, and also Sarries play on Sunday if we play Saturdays.
Do it on a Sun then cause no-one actually bothers to go and watch them. They must get about 6k a week max.
They could do it once a month on a day when neither us or the "others" are playing. What places could be on the tour?
That ledge where the old scoreboard used to be. I've never known what it is? Is it disabled access for the away fans?
I might propose a film to them that spends 7 days with them leading up to a game. All publicity is good publicity!
Come on Admin, organise a WFCForums one off special fun day. Tour of the stadium. TheDon will turn up in his specially designed Harry the Hornet outfit.
Doubt there'd really be much in it for the club. How much could they realistically charge for people to have a tour round the vic, and how much demand would there be? The profit would be peanuts.
So much of the ground is covered by building work. All the interesting stuff is at least. Or it's shut off and unsafe. No one wants to walk around an empty stand or stand in an empty box. It just wouldn't work.
