Read this on Teamtalk and was suprised nobody else has picked this up on the forum, so surpised I decided to register and post it myself. "People like Elton John have been involved here for many years," he told BBC Three Counties Radio. "For me, it is important that people like that have a part in the future as well. "There have been some big personalities involved with Watford's history, and it's important they are involved in Watford's future to progress the club." Now Elton is a big personality and after him its GT, so when he say's "it's important they are involved in Watford's future to progress the club." Is this the biggest hint yet that GT is indeed on his way back?? I reckon it is.

GT isn't in favour of Directors football either, so I guess it would mean a place on the board. I still can't see GT liking Buck's style of play though. It could just mean a more active life president role though.
Hi CT, welcome to the forums. There's been talk for 2 weeks now of an imminent announcement, and still nothing. I think you might be on the right track with Elton as we know he loves the club and has a few more quid than most people think, but after the ride we've had this season I wouldn't be surprised for something completley unexpected.
This reminds me of the "Bigger than promotion to the Premiership" announcement regarding the ground rebuilding and that pretty much fizzled out straight away. You're only reading into it what you want. There's no hint, it could be just him trying to endear himself to the fans.
Read it yesterday but didn't get time to paste it into here. I was thinking that's a big hint. You wouldn't come out and say such a thing unless you knew for a fact he was coming back in!
