1. I don't like the look of the new chap. I feel like he's a new uncle ****bing my mum. 2. Instead of booing at the vic from now on can we all have those red safety hats under our seats ( a la bas) at the vic and when we are not happy we should put them on. I think it could be so much more civilised than booing. 3. I love Watford FC. never a dull momment 4. I miss zola........ 5. Anyone kow what was going on behind the scenes I think something has been hushed up. 6. Do you think zola will go to WBA. (if we cant have him i dont want anyone else to have him) 7. Happy xmas
Sannino is only going to be appointed until the end of the season. On paper it isn't inspiring but lets give him a chance before we start slagging him off.
Just been reading his page on Wikipedia. Has been sacked quite a few times, but has a good reputation of getting teams promoted. But he just cant keep them up there! Apparently he done a good job at Serie B side Varese. First season in charge, got them into play offs, remind you of anyone else :-\ Personally, i dont have a clue why, but i want Steve Clarke, feel it will be a good appointment as he knows well about the English game.
no i think zola should have gone mine was just an observation of what a mean heartless git this new guy looks like. Zola wasnt up to the job I think he had already lost it at the playoff final. Just my opinion. Im just a softy for nice guys . Also I didnt think i had so much power at the club but next time tell me and i will do my best to make sure the club holds onto the manager.
I'm delighted he looks like a mean mother f...er. If you ask me, some of our players are in urgent need of a no-nonsense boss who won't tolerate lacklustre performances well below the bar that they've raised for themselves.
Clarke will be enjoying some time off living from the severance package. Di Matteo has been enjoying his for a year. Aside from those two, I'm hard pressed to see any British managers currently available who would be a good fit for the team. I like this appointment, his recent record speaks for itself: lots of promotions and a relegation at Palermo under very difficult circumstances. Give him until May, if things work out, consider keeping him. If not, we go all out to convince di Matteo.
