I meant to comment about this last night but forgot. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/11507975._/ Defenders going missing in search of glory has always been my biggest gripe. Well done skip!

That man is going to be a club legend. He's the perfect captain, and if you'd told me that 3 years ago I'd have called you mad.
Listened to it on 3 counties and he was going crazy. He also said we didn't have many leaders in the talking sense on the pitch. Most liked to lead by example by showing what they can do. Lack of communication on the pitch may explain why we are so fragile when on the defensive
Might have something to do with fact that most of the squad have limited grasp of the English language.
It's all relative, any communication also has to be 'good' to be effective and I saw a lot of bad calls in my playing days. What you do need is players that can actually take charge of a situaton rather than just panic and shout 'man on' when there's no real need. Good players can think for themselves and anticipate their teammates. Of course you need to talk but it's when you don't that you catch the opponents off guard.
