A breakdown of goals conceded this season

Thought I'd make a breakdown of goals we've conceded this season, sat through all the miserable highlights so be grateful! This doesn't include today.

In descending order:

Outside box/FK - 5
Cross far post - 5
Ball across the face of goal - 5
Cross near post - 4
Corner/Set Piece - 4
Ball over the top - 3
Through ball - 2
Penalties - 2
Goalkeeping error - 2
Defensive error - 2
Own goal - 1
Individual effort - 1
"Pinball" - 1

Obviously some goals were open to interpretation but I kept it as uniform as I could and of course the criteria might be debatable but it's all I could think of.

Big problem we have is giving players too much time outside of the area, not just from the numbers above but visually it's evident.

And of course losing our men in the box, they are always first to the ball, considering we have 3 centre backs yet there man is always ahead of them its disapointing.

But hey ho you only learn from your mistakes, best we do as much learning this season as possible.

 

Where's the gifted by stupid, incompetent, useless refs section? That'll be about 5 or 6

 

Think we should start pinball in goal next week based on the stats.

 

This analysis is only pertinent if we review it against the last two seasons.

Please prepare these stats as a matter of urgency.
