We need to shift another 5,000 to sell out.

I thought current capacity is 17,500? Take out the 2200 for Lestah and that leaves close to 6500 still unsold.

Maybe the number of tickets that have been brought today are not included in the number.

Some might wait to see what happens in the 1st leg...

Surely they can put both games on general sale (to those who have proof of attending one game) by now? Those in the 'criteria' who wanted tickets will surely have them by now.

  9. Just a thought (probably stupid) but there are/were way less than that number available online - way way less. I counted 800 at around 10 oclock this AM, but didn't count family stand. Is it possible that a whole load of season ticket holders don't know they have to pay extra for this match?

The ST seats still haven't been released so would have shown as greyed out just like sold seats I would imagine?

I'll be gutted if, come Thursday, there aren't any tickets left.

Maybe if the ticket system was top notch a few more would have been sold

If it does not sell out people are skint, leicester away, leeds home, leicester home and away again and then possibly wembley, all on top of people buying season tickets.

Yet Leicester can sell 30,000 home tickets and sell out the away game. They must earn more in Leicester I guess.

Can understand why away numbers are low but at home? Jeeeez. I've said before but a lot of this will probably rest on tomorrow's result. The way they have been sold also doesn't help and has probably put a few people off.

or maybe the fact that the town is 5x the size, they don't have 3 prem sides within 15 miles and they live in such a **** hole that they have come to accept the fact that they have little else to live for - might just be a factor
Bottom line - we will sell out both and will sell 40000 at Wembley - but not as easily as others because of multiple factors including the fact that our ticket office is run by morons

My Father is a season ticket holder and wasted so much time trying to get through on the phone he has now decided not to go and watch it at home.

  21. Leicester have also got 6000 home seats still to sell accourding to their forum - looks like they have ST holders who haven't yet bought.

The home leg still has a fair few days of selling to go yet and as others mentioned there may well be a few waiting on the result tomorrow very similar to the Leeds game after Hull lost at Barnsley. The away leg I find very surprising. Are they still on sale tomorrow? Can't believe we're in danger of not selling 2000 tickets for a play off game 100 miles away although how quickly this has come round doesn't help. Why couldn't these games be staggered a bit more instead of buching them up and then having over two weeks to the final. If The first leg was Saturday and the second leg the following Saturday, with the other semi on the two Sundays there would have been plenty of time to post tickets if required and everything would be sold out. This would still leave over a week to sell the final tickets.

So they've sold 24,000 tickets (32,000 capacity, 2,000 away tickets). Not bad still.

Not that i'm making excuses but getting there and back on a Thursday night is a nightmare! Plus the cost is pretty high. £61 single on the train.

  25. There must be a fair few on here going up to Leicester with spare seats in their cars. I'm going by motorbike though!

Had we had a further week in preparation I'm sure there would be a better turn out, five days is a bit daft.

I got 2 tickets sitting next to each other in the Rookery at about 10am this morning online. Phoned up about 5 times but couldn't get through.

Online would be the best bet for anyone trying to get tickets. Also reminder that it's 2 per Fan ID.

I tried all day to get through on the phone but couldn't get through. I couldn't book my ST seats online either, so in the end gave up. So that is 6 ST holders not going to the match as I just couldn't reserve the normal seats.

This is probably why the gate will be down because the club have made it very difficult to buy tickets.

Reading this thread it seems to be fine for some but a nightmare for others. Clearly there has been a problem with the system not being able to cope with demand.

Leicester have 500 tickets remaining for tonight, they're gonna outnumber us horrendously.
