Not very often I post serious freds, so bloody read it you mugs. Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan claimed his 800th test wicket in his last ever test match today. As an English cricket fan, it has been great to see Graham Swann emerge as a class spinner, but Murali and Shane Warne are and were in a league of their own. I dont think anyone will ever get near the 800 wicket mark, I'm not even sure they'll get past Warne's 700+. A great achievement for a man who almost carried the Sri Lankan bowling attack on his own.
