Rodgers is apparently on a short list of 4 to be interviewed for the managers job, the others are supposed to be MM, Kenny Jacket, and Davey (currently with Barnsley). I don't know how true this is, but that list has been posted on another thread.

Someone said on the above link that Rodgers son played for our reserves last night. Well it is definitely true that a lad called Rodgers did play last night, but I am not sure if it was his son or not? Having said that Rodgers is not often spelt with a "d" in it, so IMO it is a strong possibility that it could be the case!!!

If the list is accurate Rodgers would hopefully be able to bring across some Chelsea players, either permanently or on loan and for that reason alone I would be up for him getting the job.

From a Chelsea forum.... if Anton is now at Watford, presuambly Brendan is nailed on

    Name: Anton Rodgers
    Position: CM
    Date of birth: Unknown.
    Nationality: English/RoI/Eire
    Currently: u16

Anton Rodgers is the son of our reserve team coach, Brendan Rodgers, and when Brendan arrived from Reading a few years back, he brough his son with him. Anton has been a regular at u16 level ever since.

Anton Rodgers is a central midfielder who loves to put himself about, a bit like Scott Parker, but he also has ability going forward and can often be found putting passes together and scoring a few goals. He does need to mature a bit, as he can get in trouble, a bit like Lee Sawyer, and this will need to be moulded by the coaching staff at Cobham.

It will be interesting to see how he develops, especially if it may come under his father's watchful eye.
