Ireland played a strong game, near total domination of England. Note: I had to drive 63 miles across Los Angeles to a South African owned bar that secured replay rights from Setanta and then pay $20 for the right to watch it. ****ing Devastated typical. scotland score a try with 5 mins to go to put ireland at the top of the table on points difference. the french apply pressure and stumble over the line in added time. the referee is unsure and goes to the video referee (who is irish to add even more tension!). he gives a try when cleary the scottish number 7 put his arm under the egg. france are back to the top with no time to play:rant: france win by +4 points on a day that the usual prolific ronan o gara missed half of his conversions. typical. they've more or less won it as england have to beat wales by 53 points to win it(which even an optomist will agree will not happen)
yep. the one day he didnt knock over the conversions (which he usually does) it cost us our first championship in 22 years. we've come secong 4 times in,last 5 years now
