An average game played out by a couple of average teams. Who will remember anything about that first half by tomorrow?

Bit lucky with the first goal after a **** up from the Huddersfield goalie but well worked 2nd goal finished by Pedro who was very good .

Once again not totally convinced but looks like 3 points .

    Tough night for the bedwetters.

:p Please leave OUR club ASAP Deeney and Gray. How the canute was not sent off beggars belief. One header won and one ball held up. Gray still cannot control the ball, offside and screwed up a great break.

A fantastic win over Huddersfield reserves today and another scintillating performance from our main men Deeney and Gray.

Contemptible first half effort. So pedestrian. Deeney should have been sent off.

Slightly better second half which does not say much. Much better when Deeney was removed. We played on the ground with pace. Just a shame Gray was brought on to ruin it all. Kiko was excellent and Cleverly too despite his legs failing. Also Wilmot for TE. Cannot pass the ball out from the back without giving it away.

In a hot air balloon powered by Tommy Mooney. Mooney should have worked for Pravda, Izvestia and the like. What a glib tongue he has.

Terrible first half, poor second half

two good goals , feel sorry for Huddersfield who had to resort to playing some of their youth team.

we needed the three points and good to have a clean sheet , but we need to play a lot better than this , we have no killer instinct , Gray and Deeney add nothing , or to put it another way **** all ,absolutely **** all

Kiko looked like he was trying, can’t blame the defence or Bachman , midfield and strikers should be told to stand in the corner and think about what they have done.

Pretty average against Huddersfield reserves. I’d give Sarr a rest on the bench, he’s a waste of time at the moment. Best delivery of the game came from Femenia. Good to see Cleverley get a goal from nothing other than desire and work rate - a lot of his teammates could learn from that.

I’d still say we look mid table, maybe top 10. We certainly won’t be going up with this squad.

Still yet to really convince this season, Deeney and Gray up top is a crime against football, but hey, a win is a win, and good results for us elsewhere, thanks scummers! Let's all have a few bevs tonight!

I think we're fast approaching needing to revert back to JP + Sarr up top, but at least we have Zinc to now fill in the gap on the wing that Sarr would leave.

All that Gray ever was as a footballer encapsulated in it. Utter *****. Not worthy to be playing in the National League. That underhit pass on the break sums him up. Casual could not care less attitude.

Why are people saying Deeney and Gray up front was a crime etc when it was actually Pedro and Deeney who started. Lol

Should have been reds for both Carpster. He was lucky the referee (Jurgen Klinsmann with a prosthetic nose) was in awe of him. No idea why though. Possibly fearful of hands clutching around his throat I expect.

Every time it seems Troy can't embarrass himself any more he sinks to yet another new low.

Neither Joao Pedro, nor Cleverley, are out-and-out centre forwards yet have been managing to score goals in this team. Our strikers' lack of goals is not due to lack of service or opportunities, but purely due to them being absolute 5hit.

That pass back to their goalkeeper from 8 yards out, despite all the time in the world, was the cherry on top of Troy's breakfast black forest gateau.

Some encouraging things about today, especially the second half. A good tempo, a few decent individual performances, and we didn’t sit back and try to cling onto our one goal lead.

Makes you think how good we could be if we could perform on the road and if we had better strikers than Deeney and Gray. (Cleverley has now scored double the number of outfield goals that pair have managed this season).

    But we don’t.

So no doubt it will be back to frustration come Friday night.

Always glad for the win. Fair play to Cleverley for his tackle goal, and lovely work from Femenia and JP for the second.

But its just beyond obvious what the two problems are....

We are capable of doing good things in spite of Deeney and Gray, not because of them. Its genuinely like playing with 10 men (or 9 if both are on the pitch).

Some good signs, but some sh1te ones as well. We need more dynamism up front. 1st half was horrific.

I don't think it's impossible for us to improve, but we need the manager to make the tough and potentially unpopular decisions, and we don't have that. And even if we did, our hideous player power would prevent it.

Still, 3 points is 3 points. But its not great to feel so deflated even after a win...

For the first time in a good while (maybe all season) we have a cushion to 7th, which is good, lots of play-off chasers dropping points and this time we could actually take advantage.

Hopefully Zinckernagel was benched today with a view to him starting against Barnsley, with Sarr to be rested? Wouldn't be opposed to that one bit

Bang average performance but we deserved it on chances made. Another reason why Pedro NEEDS TO START every game he can ahead of either Gray or Bollard. Nice clean finish from a decent move.

Cleverley was a bit fortunate to score when he slid in, but it was that sort of game. Defence rarely troubled and Bachmann hardly a thing to do all game. Improvement over Swansea for certain but surely Xisco had to drop Captain Marvel now? Should of been sent off, poor performance again from Mr. TALKSPORT and needs dropping.

Good to win, our home form is very good results wise Barnsley next, tough game. Well done Emma Saunders for getting into that black top, made it look good girl!

Because if you compare Troy and Andre your pals to Pedro it is like comparing a childs crayon drawing to a Rembrandt portrait. Pedro has more talent in his little toe than the two combined. We saw several flashes of it again. And blow me down a striker who actually attacks the opposite wing of a cross. And guess what not put off by Sarrs dummy scores. A natural.

What can I say other than I'm very pleased for JP getting another goal. Fairly dreadful overall performance, essentially saved by a hilarious joke of a mistake/semi own goal.

    Gray delenda est.

One of the B/G fans said Zinc can play as a 2nd striker; would probably make more sense to play him with Gray and keep Sarr on the wing.

Totally dominated them, Huddersfield were totally rubbish, worst signed this season but being able to dominate a team and look totally in control was nice.

Still need a striker if we're serious about autos.

Very happy for Pedro, his ceiling is ever higher than Sarr's in my opinion.

Solid effort from Andre. On the pitch for 25 minutes and didn't complete a single pass, attempt a dribble, win a header, have a shot. Did get caught offside though.

Dominated from start to finish, and never needed to get out of first gear. Can't remember anything they created, or a decent save Bachmann had to make. Credit to Kiko (again) and Masina who shut down pretty much every attack down the wing.

Still want us to create more but had more than enough decent chances to win the game comfortably. Very happy.
