    I used to be 'on the books' of a rather pleasant young lady dentist who, in her attempts to remove a rather stubborn wisdom tooth, took the unusual step of squatting on my chest to gain leverage.

    What she revealed was just a little consolation for the pain she caused when she cracked the roof of my mouth.

    1. Joka
    2. Be nice to have a southern team come up - and another potential away day for me
    3. They (generally) play the most attractive football of the teams in the play-offs.

    Flam deservedly leading the tie right now. Vydra just came on, but I suspect it's too little too late for Derby. They came looking for a 0-0 and didn't get it.

    He snatched at it and should have crossed. Derby were abysmal last 20 minutes. Quite astonishingly abysmal to the extent they were frustrating me as a neutral.

    I wanted Fulham to win but would have been happy for Derby to have gone up with their aging, never been good enough in the Prem squad. Would have needed a huge overhaul for them to be competitive next season - one of the relegation places would be nailed down

    Why drop your top scorer for such a big game!?! I expected them to lose when I saw that, you knew what the game plan was - defend a 1-0 lead 90 mins.

    My gut feeling has always been that Villa would win the play offs, and today’s sad news is bound to add emotion to their second leg fixture, and the final should they get there. Steve Bruce has had a sad year off the field too, losing both parents, and while things like that shouldn’t have any bearing on the result of an actual football match, you can see the story waiting to be written.

    That said, I’d love Fulham to win it because of Joka. Good manager, class act, harshly treated by us.

    It could well turn out that we would have six matches next season against Head Coaches shown the door by Gino. That’s some record! And from a previous era Ray Lew is still at Palace I think?

    Should have gone tbh.

    Boro managed to be worse than Derby were yesterday. Youd never have known they were a goal down in a play off semi final. Played like a point would be a good result. Fulham easily the best team of the 4 on what I've seen.

    Awful game overall and shows how much the playoffs have dwindled in excitement. Boro were a bore and Villa just about did enough.

    Fulham should beat them at Wembley but this is football.

    I still reckon Villa will edge it. Bruce has been there and done it over and over again. Whatever people's opinions are about Terry he will be invaluable in that match. I can see Fulham choking as they did at Birmingham, they've got good players and are nice to watch but lack any big time players who have won on a big stage.
