Agreed neither create the gladiatorial atmosphere and intimidate the opposition in the same way that Rockin Robin (tweet tweet) does for Swindon fans.

It's funny how grandiose some fans think their clubs are. In truth Palace have a history not much different to ours. Yes they have a few more divisions in the top flight than us - current run six versus our four - and previously three immediate relegations versus our two and their best ever is 3rd versus our second. A couple of FA cup runners up versus our single one. Not exactly the stuff of a major club.
Much of their history was in the second, third or lower tiers of the leagues.
Given they are a massive LONDON club you might think they would have a better pedigree. Unfortunately for them if they try to compare themselves to actual London clubs they are found sadly lacking.
    Hey ho.
We know we are a small town club that occasionally punches above its weight. For me that is one of the charms of our club.

No London clubs in the semis, despite what Hodgson thinks. How often does that happen?

Totally agree. Coming accross these delusional palace and everton fans makes me really appreciate being watford. We know who and what we are and we like it. Unpretentious and without delusions of grandeur. Happy just to be ourselves.

Were there mushrooms in the corner of the San Siro?
They built it too sharply and didn't allow for enough light apparently so prone to fungi.
I might have to put up a poster for Mr IBB at this rate.

Sorry if this has inevitably been discussed elsewhere, but is the online ticket office down?

Been trying to get on to link Fan IDs to my account since yesterday with no luck.

How many tickets do we have to give them? Hope we give them the minimum amount and divide them like we did to Palace

No mate, it's a neutral ground for the semis, normally HighField Rd or Elm Park

Maybe sharing some dark place with Crazee Wilf.

People will think a missing poster is for a cat.

They’ll see ‘Mr...’ & assume ‘Mr Tibbles’.

Suggest you use his least catlike photo.

If Palace were hurt about the result then the draw will have been the last twist of the knife in our dealings with them this season.

It’s still the same this morning too.

Spoke to the ticket office, they said its down completley after being hacked by holmesdale ultras IT dept. Unfortunatley it looks like we're going to have to queue for tickets at the ground like the good old days again.

That rules out the ones with him playing with a vole, climbing up the curtains and lying on his back showing his fangs then.
Most of them, come to think of it!

Strange, it allowed me to buy 4 tickets for the cup final just behind the box.
No seriously it allowed me to buy tickets for the wolves home game, seemed a little slow, but nothing different to usual. Sounds like I was lucky.

I think just waiting for the date and time of the semi to be confirmed before agreeing the Southampton or Fulham match dates. One of them likely to be the previous Tuesday or Wednesday.

    Excellent performance!

Cathcart was brilliant I thought, that tackle at the end of the match was fantastic (before the ball fell to Wan Bissaka). Great assist from him too.

    Capoue and Deulofeu also fantastic.

Happy for Gomes and you could see how much it meant to him but personally I thought he was a little poor.

I was hoping that they would put one of the matches on the Wednesday before the final weekend so we could finish on two home games before the cup final.

Palace fans saying we only beat them coz Zaha was injured. They can have that one.

Mind you we beat them twice in the league with him.

Therefore that's another 2-1 to the Orns!!!

Quite possibly true but also quite embarrassing. Having had 6 years in the Premier League shouldn't they have spent their money a little more wisely so they weren't STILL a one man team?

If you look at his stat’s for this season, he’s hardly a player who has held exceptional form. He is clearly talented and a focal point of their team - but for the amount he contributes, I’d be tempted to sell him if I was their owner and take the over-inflated fee they’d surely get.

But I would also sack Hodgson as god forbid would I let him loose with the proceeds of the sale.

Not entirely his fault of course, but their goal wouldn't have happened with Foster in goal. Made a decent save or two, but I was a bit nervous any time Gomes had the ball at his feet

    Pretty harsh.

The wind was blowing a gale & the outfielders were struggling to pass effectively.

Gomie's keeping made the Palarse goalie look like a drunken child.

Yeah, it wasn't a horrific blunder by any means, though Foster probably would have arrowed those kind of balls to safety even in that wind

Why wouldn’t it have happened? There was nothing wrong with Gomes ball out of the defence as they were in acres of space. He can’t legislate for what was to happen. And it was a good finish which he did well to get a hand to.

I understand people saying he’s not as good as Foster, and I agree. But to call him ‘poor’ on Saturday is not fair.

He didn't really do anything wrong but he can't kick from back passes very well. A few minutes before their goal, he shanked one when trying to put his foot through it. I'm pretty certain that's why he then chipped the next one out to Femenia who had to cushion it back to Mariappa. Obviously Mapps should've done anything other than what he actually did with it but I doubt he'd have been in that position if Foster was playing as he'd have boomed it up the pitch.
