Haha, and you don't wonder why I might be doing that? Either way, I'm not really sure how that in any way makes you look any better, especially not when you insist on throwing out another childish red herring about being happy we lost, rather than the truth (that you are fully aware of) that my pointing this out has nothing to do with a reaction to the result either way, but instead to the way you came and attacked people who were daring to consider the relative merits of the victory and what it told us about the team.

Since you've graciously admitted to it, I obviously don't need to explain any further than that, and that is indeed to your credit. I'm not sure just hoping Ivic magically starts doing better after 16 games when trend-wise, the opposite is true, will be enough, though.

Great business for the equivalent of Freddy Ladapo.

Yes, I’ve commented on exactly that somewhere on here. It’s a huge problem with us, Deeney is joke as far as a centre forward is concerned, but to an extent it’s not directly his fault. He’s so hideously slow he can’t really make runs because he can’t beat the offside trap and he knows it. I also commented the other day how Pedro doesn’t seem to have a clue what to do in the same situation, he’s good with the ball at feet but pretty useless when a midfielder is looking for an option.

One of the horribly by products of no longer having players like Gerry and Bobby P, and of course a decent CF.

Was at the game yesterday, and am actually rather happy I was unsuccessful for Tuesday night now. So so disappointing

We are so slow and negative going forwards; how many times did Hughes/Sarr/Pedro have the ball in the final third and then have no choice but to go back or sideways because of the lack of movement ahead of them? Our toothless attack was summed up by Perica missing a header from about 5 yards out and Quina's ridiculous free-kick right at the end.

Cardiff weren't that good, but they had a gameplan and executed it perfectly. Snuffed Sarr out of the game and defended in numbers and in cohesion. Kieffer Moore is the type of striker we are crying out for: not the most skilful or talented but is an absolute nuisance to defend against. He won every single header he went up for, and I can't remember Deeney winning even one.

Ivic will know time is against him, and if he doesn't get us performing better by January, I think the trigger may be pulled. If there's one thing we've all learnt about our owners, it's that they don't mess about. If they sense the need for change, there's little hesitation

That's the whole point and a fact lost completely on the likes of you. We aren't. However, you think it's resolved if we win the next game others have a more long term outlook on our chances.

Let's face it, it's imposaible for any manager to manage the club with Troy Deeney in the dressing room. He acts like he's above the manager in the club hierarchy and it fatally undermines the manager's authority. Things were looking good before Deeney came back from injury, now look at the state of us!! Ivic's big mistake was having Sarr take a penalty when Deeney was on the pitch. He was a dead man walking from that moment on. He'll be gone by January. Mr Watford working his magic again.

That was our first defeat since Deeney cane back into the squad really.

Hardly gone to pot totally compered to when he wasn’t playing.

Still weren’t that good were we beforehand save for a couple of games.

Andre Gray is the problem - unfit and breaking the law again yet still allowed to be paid 70k a week.

Under GT and other managers/owners he would have been sacked on the spot .

And as Success - well is he bothering to get fit?

Nothing childish here. I'm not the one tagging someone to purely get a reaction. I rattled you and I'm sorry about that.

    Just move on.

Ah hahaha, you just can't help yourself, can you?

Hopefully you've learned from this not to smugly spaff your load straight up the wall at the first sign of an exposed ankle, and that's a good thing moving forward.

So we "break forward " and "with pace " .
What is Plan B if our opponents drop off , concede possession
and look to play on the break themselves ?

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the drop in form of Ken Sema. Can the Pre-Covid absence Ken, the one that can deliver a half-decent cross, please come and replace the hesitant imposter that played on Saturday.

And they were all leaving early. So much for missing the experience. Lol.

I didn't see the match and when I heard from friends who updated me, whilst I was playing, I felt even worse.
I haven't watched the 'highlights' and have nothing to say other than sorrow and a sense of foreboding.

Seems like the real Ken is the one we saw when we were in the premier league. Calamity Ken is back.

You should been playing for Watford. You'd have been an improvement on those who did.

Anyone who watches highlights of a game we lost and played terribly needs to give their head a wobble.

The most interesting thing from the Cardiff game was this goalkick we took

    https://twitter.com/From_The_Wing/status/1335957872002428928

Interesting and innovative way of quickly building from the back from a goal-kick. Wonder why we don't see teams creating GK routines like this more often? Seems an under-utilised idea considering most teams take goal-kicks short nowadays but don't really have an idea what to do with it and end up going long at the end anyway

You really have a problem with Deeney causing you to ignore facts and make up your own(where you have no way of knowing the truth). You really need to give your half a brain (a quote from you from the other thread) a rest and calm down on your anger at Deeney.

He is not the player he was and not contributing enough, but he is not the cause of everything that is wrong with our team performances.

I dont have any anger towards Deeney. I just care about the club. Its true he's not performing as an individual but the real problem is his atrocious leadership, undermining of our managers and his negative impact on the dressing room. We needed to get rid of Doucoure amd Deeney, unfortunately we failed to offload Troy......
