Id like to know where you got this view that our support is poor?

I am one Watford fan amongst a crowd of friends who support al the "big teams" and not one of them has said "oh we dont give a sh*t about Watford because their support is poor"

In fact some have commented on how Watford scare them a bit due to their attitude and fight. And im sure Aidy doesnt agree with your comment as he made the statement recently on the man u match that he was more than happy with our support when we were 4-0 down and still singing.

I dont see how we have gone from wearing colours to the lack of our support? Our support has never been an issue.

    - So what would you prefer ? Lines of us standing by the away entrances looking threatening ?

    - Your definition of fortress seems to be attack the oppo's fans whilst Aidy wants an loud atmosphere to intimidate the opposition PLAYERS.

    - Older faces ?? Where are they now ? Probably sitting at home with the banning orders framed on a wall (must be proud). Obviously you think these older faces are good fans but then where are they now ??

Can't believe people on here are criticising west hams support and saying ours isn't that bad, they sell out every away allocation with ease and have the noisiest home ground, them and newcastle probably the best in the league

This is exactly how i see it. And you get more of a reaction if youre a woman! I was living in Caledonian Road before I came here, and going back home after the games, people would always talk to me, which NEVER happens otherwise on the tube! Also, you get to shout down bit echoey tunnels!!

However, i do agree with the sweaty bit..!!

Compared to a lot of supports our support is bad, especially at home, however there are much worse, we're in the middle somewhere i'd say.

I was agreeing more with the west ham and newcastle comment.

do we get league points for your interpretation of a good support base? Cos for a second there, it seemed like what you're all talking about was actually important.

I think it's clear sir that if we all stopped wearing yellow we'd be in a far better position this season.

Imagine a club where the supporters are proud to wear the colour of the club. Horrific thought isn't it. Those Newcastle fans, Whose kids are born with black and white stripes, what a disgrace.

I've never lived in Watford, the closest I have is Bushey, and I was 6.

So from this, and now living in Leicester I have this to say.

When I wear a Watford shirt other fans are happy to talk to you and respect me and the club as a whole as we are family club with fans renowned for good support and a great amount of respect and friendliness shown to other fans.

When I go to a pub to watch football, fans will talk to me, rather than those wearing West Ham tops, why do you think that is?

So we may have a lot of 'window lickers' as you so immaturely put it, but I think being an 'aggresive' fan base is not the right way to go. Why be respected for being intimidating when we get more admiration for being honest friendly fans who are passionate about our club.

I think you see this more the further away you live from Watford/Harrow/St Albans ETC...

I'm proud to be a Watford fan, and wear my top every match day, whether I can attend the game or not, and I wouldn't change our supporters for anyone else's!
