I'd have taken that option. There would be much more room there than home with all the **** my other half owns.

Using the work toilet and realising half way through your epic dump that there is NO PAPER LEFT :dismay:. You then have to pray for a clean cut and that nobody comes in as you shuffle cubicles. Nightmare.

The sense of dismay and foreboding when this happens is unbearable. Fortunately I usually have a pack of tissues on me.

    Wow. How awful.

It's probably more awful that I really want to be in it and will almost certainly watch it.

Running tee shirts, especially the ones you get after a marathon, with "motivational" or smug messages.

Usually sported by out of condition joggers. Saw one today sported by lumbering accountant type trying to kid anyone he'd achieved some marathon in the USA in 2008.

    Really? Who cares, mate?

    Just Do One.

People that don't know what 'crescendo' means but still use it. Also people who use 'refute' when the mean 'deny'.

I did that the other day, no-one else picked up on it (openly) but I did, and I hated myself for it.

People often don’t know when to use less and when to use fewer in a sentence. Here’s how to get it right.

Use fewer if you’re referring to people or things in the plural (e.g. houses, newspapers, dogs, students, children). For example:

People these days are buying fewer newspapers.

Fewer students are opting to study science-related subjects.

Fewer than thirty children each year develop the disease.

Use less when you’re referring to something that can’t be counted or doesn’t have a plural (e.g. money, air, time, music, rain). For example:

It’s a better job but they pay you less money.

People want to spend less time in traffic jams.

Ironically, when I’m on tour, I listen to less music.

Less is also used with numbers when they are on their own and with expressions of measurement or time, e.g.:

His weight fell from 18 stone to less than 12.

Their marriage lasted less than two years.

Heath Square is less than four miles away from Dublin city centre

So it's 5 items or FEWER

I hate it when your boss says, "these changes will be positive for 90+% of the employees" but you find out everyone took a pay cut and in particular, your position is "made redundant".

Today I discovered my hate for something that's always bugged me.

Now this lady's figure is okay but when over-weight women's spandex is strangling the bottom of their leg and it is going slightly pale begging for air as they 'jog'. Disgusting. There are worse things in life but this is something that bothers me.

Maybe, but it could be that they feel the same way about themselves and want to do something about it. So full marks to them - as long as they keep it up!

I think the choice of leg wear is down to the fact that they don't want to expose their legs entirely by wearing shorts, as they are too self conscious, but feel overdressed in full length leggings.
