I am confident I speak for all Watford fans when I say I am incredibly proud of the fact we are the most staunchly Christian club in the premier league, and the absolute last thing we need is one of "their sort" in the changing room disrupting things by praying to mecca, and fasting at all hours of the day etc.

Whilst I doubt the source of this rumour, it does bring some things into perspective. Quite a lot of our fans were raving about the likes of Ghezzal or even more so couldn't wait for us to sign Carrillo off the back of a decent season a few years ago at Sporting. Wasn't Slimani very prolific at the very same Sporting team and more recently? But yet he's a 'waste of a player on the pitch' off the back of an indifferent few months at Leicester - where let's face it, they won't drop Vardy for anyone.

Not saying it was yourself raving about Carrillo by the way...

Edit: I know Slimani plays in a difference position to Ghezzal/Carrillo. It was more the other argument I was pointing to!
