Well,at least we're still in and I've returned with Ford, visited my Mother's property, been into WGC to get the foxes' arsen, done my weights AND had lunch.
Could have done with Stokes sticking in there but,as Willis said,we don't do that.
Let's hope Buttler's tummy is ok.

Amazing. Six batters substantially into double figures and not a single half-century between them. I thought this was supposed to be a cracking wicket to bat on.

It probably is. We are just hopeless at test cricket.

As a Somerset fan, I am enjoying watching Vernon Philander bowl.

As an England fan, I am not.

I think the captain needs to admit he's not up to the job.

He isn't but it's hard to blame him for the fact that the other 10 can't bat ....

We've suddenly learned how to play this game ! Well on top now and on the way to a match winning total as long as we can bowl them out on what looks a very good batting surface now.

Good innings by Stokes, it took the pressure off of Sibley who got his maiden test century.

Yep. Painful to watch him try. A strong Captain wouldn't be bowling him.

However, we don't have one of those.

Crawley's catch was comedy gold. Looked for a moment as if there would be a three-man pile-up.

Very nice to see a real 5-day Test Match for once. And away wins are still possible!

England sliding to an inadequate total again: 4 down at little more than 2 an over.

Yes. What is the pitch like ? Their spinner seems to be unplayable according to the text updates. And as you say 2 runs an over suggests batting isn't easy - yet it looked very easy at about 75 odd for no wicket.

He bowled his first 20 odd overs for 20 odd runs. Every other ball seemed to be a play and miss. Just reporting what the ESPN live commentary said....

No complete batting failures, but can anyone get a 50?
