That was my initial thoughts, but I've been extremely positive ever since when I had time to think about it and factored in Shakespeare. They are a very good team. Pozzo's obviously see player power combined with a losing mentality have taken hold in the club & needed to gamble on a renegade do or die manager.

 

Giraldi is in pole position regarding recruitment. I see no reason why he should be anywhere near 'the tunnel'. Ever.

What you've identified is, in tandem (there's that inappropriate word again) that they work as a triple. To the exclusion of the head coach. So maybe what's needed is a quadruple thingymybob where the head coach has a bit more influence around 'what's needed'. Particularly in the effing tunnel where Giraldi should stay in the Upper GT and mind his own business. If a supposed boss was getting in your face in the office or any other workplace around things that had been supposedly delegated to you on a consistent basis how would you feel?

Giraldi strikes me as a bit of a c.nt with ideas above his station who I'd really like to slap. Does he know where Gino buried the body?
