Personally I think it shows that the Pozzo’s are flexible in appointing an English manager. They clearly prefer foreign based coaches, but have changed their approach - presumably based on input from the players. He has previous in terms of falling out with owners of other clubs. This will probably be a great success or an unmitigated disaster, I don’t really see a middle ground.

Pearson getting Lesta promoted in 2014 after what must have been a massive disappointment in losing to us in the playoffs, shows the type of character he is. Some people thrive on adversity others go into their shell. I think it may work, but we are a complete mess at the moment. Its more likely that we will make a go of it this year, with a reasonable chance of getting us promoted next year.

 

I take your point but fully expect LJ to be in the Premier League in the next 2-3 years, with or without Bristol City.
