Not sure what it says that I skimmed past most of the players with an 'absolutely no chance' attitude. Sarr got it for me. Loved watching Kiko this season and him with Sarr has been brilliant. But Ngakia in for Kiko may not have made as much difference as it would have had Sarr not been playing. Match winner.
I think we would have been promoted with Ngakia playing instead of Kiko too. Whereas if we had no Sarr, we wouldn't even be close to automatic promotion. No brainer for me.
Sarr is our best player by far , but POTS should be based upon the best player for their position. So I voted Sierralta , can see him playing for one of the big boys in a couple of years .
that's what I was thinking. What a stitch up. Some fat sweating baldybastard stealing the biggest interview off Emma.
I was quite emotional seeing that interview. A friend went to school with her, said she is a lovely person, she certainly came across well. God bless SGT and his family. Elton loves it doesn't he?! Very good production I thought, although I only saw the last hour. Well done to all involved.
The awards show was great. I really enjoyed the production. Emma is just brilliant. Never a stumbled word, always interesting, never flustered and keeps everything on track, setting the right tone. I like Mooney too. He's decent at punditry, and bringing on the players for their thoughts kept things ticking over nicely. Well done to Sarr for the clean sweep. I'd have given him the Goal of the Season too, but Chalobah's strike at Cardiff was equally worthy. For the first time in quite a while, I feel the club really coming together. Tonight reminded me we're back on track as a club. Seeing SEJ giving awards. It's good to see this and it's very uniting. Fans were turning against Gino and Scott, but I feel we've come through that rough patch now. We'll be back in stadiums come August (hopefully) and we can start afresh. Maybe this relegation was a blessing. We got stale, comfortable, arrogant, complacent and lost focus. Now we're a newly promoted side and can feel grateful and humble again. Good times are just about to start.
Yes - been there a long time (like that Rob Smith who appeared to give the Community award to Kabasele) He used to be the goal keeper (probably not a surprise!) for the WIFC. Was done very well getting all the players in and Andy Collins is a fan of course and Mooney likes a laugh and a joke as well. Emma is very composed and assured hence her appearances on 5live (it was a bit awkward once when she was one and they had to talk about us changing a manager!) Deserved winners - Sarr was the difference in an attacking sense so always going to win I feel.
Nice photo - even Elton's partner got involved and don't think he is a fan of football as such (well not like Elton anyway!) But what about the social distancing..
Every photo I've seen of Sanchez he's beaming. Proudly posted a pic of him sat next to Elton on twitter. He's ******* loved it here.
I am so proud of this club. For all of his achievements as a musician, I honestly get the feeling that his most cherished achievement in life is Watford Football Club with Graham Taylor. The Pozzo's and Scott deserve a lot of credit for building upon the foundations of EJ and GT, while retaining the heart and soul of this community club. They make mistakes but they have rectified them and, yet again, they've got their decisions spot on.
Rob Smith has been there for decades, he used to take our training sessions sometimes when I was in the centre of excellence (pre-cursor to Harefield) about 20 odd years ago
