Why ? Maybe Asprilla could have started but pretty much to be expected tbh . Natural RB and Kayembe coming in too.
The main positive I think is having Healey back on the bench - otherwise we'd have had no back-up striker, which would be a major issue when Rajovic struggles to last 90 minutes at the moment.
We need a rethink as to how many slow players we can afford to play at once. Getting murdered out there on the counter.
Would bring him on at HT if he's fit enough, feels like the sorta game that would really suit his skillset.
I'm Screaming at our 'defence'. Also at the director who keeps showing close-ups instead of showing us the match.
It could easily be 5-5 at the moment. But Watford MUST do something about their defending. If you are beaten for pace by individual players you are in trouble in any match, and you are taking almighty risks playing high up the pitch, not running with your man nor marking properly and then trying unnecessary trikery in the middle of the pitch.
We look a decent side but constantly shooting ourselves in the foot. Porteous scares me- he’s either far too rash and takes too many risks or he’s our best defender. No inbetween. I feel sorry for Rajovic because he gets absolute pelters but unfortunately they’re justified as he offers nothing 95% of the time. It’s no good him only being decent 5/6 yards out because every single pass deflects off him and the opposition can start attacking again. Happens every single time.
Sub singular - we were still doing well until the Andrews for Louza one. It's extraordinary how much that one killed the momentum we had. Even though he only had 10 minutes on the pitch he was still just casually strolling around and giving the ball away. I honestly never want to see Louza in the Watford shirt again - please bu99er off already.
Gosh! Successive trips to Plymouth, 19 years apart, and two 3-3 draws! Several positives, loads of negatives BUT sometimes you’ve just got to put everything to one side and just say wow what a great game of football!
Crazy game. Could’ve gone either way. Can’t help but feel a little disappointed in Ismael’s substitutions; taking both Kone & Chak off when I felt we were on top was strange - we completely lost control after those subs. Don’t feel that Kayembe warranted coming off at HT, unless of course he was injured. A tale of strange decisions for sure.
