Yep, his best season was the last promotion one, where him and that gurning GoPro clown were competing for the starting spot each week.
He is. Still managed to get a good flap in towards the end. The saves he made were routine for a Championship keeper.
But kept a clean sheet for the second game running. He’s not a Premier League keeper but that doesn’t matter anymore, he is though, more than capable at the league we’re in. Shouldn’t be captain though
Do you mean the cross that Hoedt headed away late on? That could have been Hoedt's fault, Bachmann is usually very good telling his defence when to head the ball away!
In a way it would have been better if he were, he started to come out for their goal, then went back, and then again for their chance soon after
Could be an issue if this is true ? https://twitter.com/louorns/status/1725276039079690665 Doubt he would be out for 4-6 weeks with concussion so have to be a new injury ?
It’s terrible news if true. Hamer is a dreadful keeper as Filbert has told on in many occasions. Looked ok on Saturday as we were playing a pub team and he had virtually nothing to do.
So , the most 2 important areas in a team, we discuss which player is the best of a bad bunch ? Come January do we think it is in these areas that will be strengthened or will another South American teenage whizzkid be unveiled ?
https://sportwitness.co.uk/watford-star-shares-extent-recent-injury-confident-hornets/ Had a knock on the noggin' but he's on the mend now and it sounds like he's back in contention this weekend.
In rare cases, people who've sustained head injuries can spontaneously develop new abilities and talents, such as becoming fluent in a language they've never previously heard of. It's slim, but there is a remote possibility that Bachman may return from his injury with the new-found ability to leave his line and deal with crosses.
I dunno, he says "maybe I shouldn't have come off my line" so now he never will, rather than...never.
I can forgive giving away a penalty. Mistakes happen and we were already a goal down. Losing his head yet again and being booked for dissent immediately after is not as forgivable. He's not a young player who should learn from that. He's our Captain. He's experienced and expected to be leading by example in action and words. He has yet again let Watford down on multiple accounts and I'm now for stripping him of Captaincy as this is multiple instances of Bachmann doing this. This is not how a Captain behaves.
From the stands it looked like it was for the penalty then dissent immediately after. If that was the case then I'll retract what I said as Captains should be allowed to talk to the referee about decisions.
Hamer Time! Thought he did alright against a toothless Rotherham but I do expect Norwich to come at us. Bachmann was clearly not over his knock to the head.
He was already on a booking from the "dissent" on 83 minutes. The penalty was his second yellow. He was justified in talking to the ref as well I think as it was definitely a dodgy decision by the ref in allowing a poor tackle from Vardy on Hoedt.
