AL telling someone on Twitter this morning that Quina could potentially stay if he impresses before the end of the month. So I think we can all safely assume that Quina won't be here on 1st September.
Roughly translates to "We are Donald Ducked, we will pin our hopes on a young kid who couldn't break into the side when we were playing in the Championship"
Can anybody tell me if Quina is still CLASSED as an U21 player for us and hence can play as an addition to our 25 man squad? His birth date is 18/11/99 which means he is currently 21, however if I understand the rules correctly if he is still 21 on 31/12/21 he is still eligible, am I right?
He was already 21 as of the 1st Jan in the year in which the season started. That means he would need to take a squad place (but he us at least HG). Anyone born in the 21st century counts as U21 for this season.
I expect you are probably right SM, but I looked it up on some official site and I found the explanation a bit ambiguous, hence my question. No offence SM, but can anyone else confirm that SM is definitely correct once and for all, thanks guys.
From last seasons PL site: https://www.premierleague.com/news/1869523 - but since that was last season you move the year on one.
I'm pretty certain I have read very recently that this is the case. However AL has said it's not certain and other birth dates could be considered #onetowatch.
I've approached the President of Switzerland in the hope his country can put together a reputable neutral panel to endorse my post.
They couldn't verify my identify and so wouldn't help. Said I needed someone to vouch for me and confirm I was who I said I was.
1. Domingos Quina U21 classification. 2. AFCON departures. 3. Robot horses. 4. Foxes in boxes. The list of things that keep TVOR up at night is wonderfully diverse, and continues to grow.
