At least Brentford and Swansea are both at 0-0 as well. We’ve been really poor.

Sad thing is Swansea and Brentford might not win but still gain ground on us !

We won’t get any more points on this form.

As awful as we've been today, the saving grace is that at least neither Swansea or Brentford won. It does somewhat soften the blow a tiny bit. But by the same token if we'd turned up today we'd have all but been promoted. Guess it was obvious we'd never do it the easy way.

So many people were banking on that being one of our easy three points. Looked foolish at the time, looks even worse now. Thank god for the other two only drawing.

After that, I’m seriously concerned, despite all my positivity. That was such a pathetic, spineless performance in a day where we should have been ultra motivated.

Disgusted with the lot of them.

It will all become more apparent by about 5pm this time in a week. But we aren't going up.

We were let down massively, no fight or desire shown from us, thoroughly deserved to lose, we’re gonna blow it aren’t we?

We've been awful the last few games. Looks like our rivals have been too. Who will recover form first?

And let's hope we never see Lazaar again, even with Kiko out and maybe Masina. Why wasn't Ngakia on the bench? Just rotation, I hope.

    Brentford must be kicking themselves.

In no world of rotating would you leave Ngakia out and promote Navarro to the bench when Masina was injured. He must be injured.

And the next game we could well lose even if motivated. Especially if we're missing Chalobah, Kiko, Ngakia, Masina. Then we have three cup finals, two of which are against teams in the top four, with the pressure mounting each game.

The signs have been there since the international break in the performances. Sema - awful (again). Pedro - marginal improvement when he dropped deeper but awful. Sarr - anonymous, if he doesn't show up we have nothing, Zinckernagel - gone massively backwards. We don't look fluid going forward at all.

    I come back to this.

Far too much confidence around here ---- job done, we're going up, how many people can the pond hold. Absolutely ridiculous then, and of course seeing the opposite with panic and anger now. Sort yourselves out, Watford fans, Twitter warriors, bloggers and Youtubers.

As for Xisco and the players, our football has been poor since the international break. Nowhere near the standard of before the break. We were absolutely not up for it today. Out-smarted, out-played, out-worked. So as we go into this run of cup finals or playoffs before the playoffs or whatever you want to call it, we're looking at two players in a front three who look poor, a midfield that seems out of sorts, our player of the season now to be suspended for the red card and so on.

Just like last year, it's like someone told them it was job done and then it slipped away.

Our record against the top teams is amongst the worst in the league
This shitshow of spineless flat track bullies will finish 3rd and lose 5-0 on aggregate to Bournemouth in the play offs

The signs are there, aren't they?
Watford looking bedraggled and starting to lose players through injury and a red card.
The season is a marathon and Brentford and Swansea are also indicating this with their poor results. It is a question of who can hold themselves together for the remainder of the season (or, indeed, if a real surprise happens and Bournemouth overtake us all!)
Playing lower placed teams is no promise of an easy game. So much discussion on here about form. The form-book went out the window during the international break.

We won’t win enough games as our away form is so patchy it cannot be relied on.

Play like that and we won’t get more than a point in the next 4 games.

It was like an Ivic away game !

We were absolutely flying until recently but just as under Ivic, the more Troy gets involved with the 1st team, the worse things get. History is repeating itself twice in the same season and ultimately Gino is to blame for being too spineless to deal with this situation. Troy was in the dressing room today 'motivating' the players. The results were plain to see. His so called 'leadership' is completely counter productive and is the biggest threat to us getting promoted. We already have leaders in the team but their leadership impact is undermined by Troy's disastrous delusional moronic narcissism. Troy is our kryptonite and Gino is the fool letting him pi$$ on our promotion parade. The best option would be to put Troy in a crate and ship him to the other side of the world right now.

So that was a game that should’ve mattered, heaven help us if any of our final four games have anything riding on them, which or course is now incredibly likely.

What do you think of that **** performance?
We are out of sorts. It looks as if we have blown up before the finishing line. One side always does this. This year it is us.
We will not get promotion on this form.
Get ready for another season in the Championship.

Whoever does will probably just fall over the line it seems.

Brentford and Swansea fans are probably feeling the same.

    A real lost opportunity.

Yes, and if we end up in the playoffs we will lose those too if we can't take the pressure.

We need a bounce back performance against Norwich now. If we feebly collapse to them too then things will not be looking good to say the least.

That performance was shocking! Did anyone actually expect us to play like that?

It’s still in our hands. We’re 6 points clear of Swansea with a superior GD which is worth a point. We’re 8 points clear of Brentford until they play game in hand.

Swansea and Brentford both blew it today as well. So we weren’t the only ones.

Brentford and Swansea would still rather be in our position.

We haven’t blown promotion yet. Because of the results today our max is 94, Brentford 89, Swansea 88. We’re on 82. 2 wins out of 4 will see us promoted.

Just have to refocus and take the shackles off now.

Xisco has some big decisions to make.

Got to get 4 points out of the next 2 games.
