Club not playing Gray for a few games, people start paying their £10 again, club then puts him back in, £10 already paid, life fail.
Don't forget we have a very short gap between this evening's game and Saturday lunchtime, some rotation has got to be expected.
A back four of Ngakia, T-E, Cathcart & Lazaar will not keep a clean sheet and we don't really score away from home (and will be even worse with Gray) so I really hope that team news leak is wrong.
I fully appreciate that, and I get 3 of the 4 changes, but why start Gray when we have Perica? Surely no need to leave Sierralta out for 2 games neither
Was he at the Vic last Friday? If not, could it be a Covid related absence? Although I think the club would be duty bound to announce that if it were the case.
No, I'm 'recalling' again but I think it was Leventhal saying it was tiredness/data driven. Could be inventing that, though.
Correct. None of the top sides in the Championship are invincible. Most have 1-2 key players that if they lose them, they're a completely different side. For us, it's clearly Sarr. For Brentford, clearly Toney. For Norwich it's probably Tukki or even Buendia. There's not a team in the division that's not a sprained ankle away from a poor run of form.
Norwich's arrogance ? You mean their arrogance in consistently winning matches and being 10 points clear with a squad that won promotion out of this league 2 years ago ? Yes that will be their undoing.
I'm ok with that as we need to give some players a rest. Thought Sema might have been rested to be honest as looked shot on Friday night
Going to be crazy windy tonight in Blackburn making it a lottery. My score guess is updated to 5-11-17-33-34-41 with bonus ball 25.
I don’t mind the rotation but would definitely have brought in Sierralta and Zinckernagel as two of the first changes. Rotating both first choice full backs in the same game is also risky.
Which of our players do you think would get inyo the Norwich team? Hughes, Sarr, possibly Sema, who else?
The flip side is how many Norwich players displace our players from the starting line up. Yes, Kiko wouldn’t make their side in place of Aarons but I don’t think we’d replace Kiko with Aarons either. Buendia and Pukki certainly make it in. Maybe Krul, Cantwell and Giannoulis too. But their CBs and CMs are nothing special. They just have a more settled starting line up and tactical style than us.
I get it but I'd say get them through today, light rotation such as a Gosling or one centre back. Thursday & Friday to recover. Play Saturday. Then rest the big / exhausted players against Wycombe. Just has to be done, Blackburn have lost 4 on the bounce, we have to hit them early with their fragile confidence. If we can get in at half time 2-0 up it allows Xisco more breathing space with the subs, the best 11 doesn't all have to play 90 but they have to start. We can make 5 subs ffs!
I dont get the hype over Cantwell. Looked a lightweight nothing footballer every time I've seen Norwich.
If Gray starts, and a fit Sierralta sits on the bench, Xisco should be sent packing before the game kicks off.
I’d add Sierralta and Kiko and possibly Pedro to those, so that’s 6 outfield players out of 10. Apart from Pukki, Buendia and maybe Cantwell who I don’t rate at all, who would you swap straight into our team? Edit: I See LeedsOrn beat me to it.
I couldn’t agree more, win the game first than make subs, no point making loads of changes and losing! Oh sorry Gino we lost! but all the players are ready for Bournemouth!
Max Aarons will be at a 'big 6' club or a top European one next season. Not sure we could say that about Kiko, as good as he's been.
Yes that too. I understand Ngakia for Kiko to a degree and Dan Duck for NC. However TBFC really should start I think we all agree and Gray is not worth mentioning.
