What a joke of an appointment he is turning out to be. Hasn't got a ****ing clue what to do. From the line up, to the tactics, to the subs, not a clue what to do.
What was all the 5hyte in the week about ‘change’? Either barefaced lying or he does not pick the team or decide on the system. Maybe he’s just the front guy for Gino’s fantasy of being the coach of a professional football club. Owning the bloody thing’s obviously no longer enough for him.
I said he'll only last 10 games when he was appointed. I might actually be wrong......he's only had 8 (although I'll claim the Cup match to bump it up to 9 ). I'd be surprised if he's still our head coach by Monday.
When you don’t think it can get worse it gets worse. Absolutely rank. Nothing changed. No spirit, no style of play, no application, no clue.
Did anyone expect anything else from someone who has absolutely no business in management in League Two, let alone a club that supposedly wants promotion from the Championship? A rancid, bizarre appointment that perfectly fits our rancid, bizarre club.
Don’t think it’s Xiscos fault. Think he’s done some stuff very well. He’s trying to improve an atmosphere that’s toxic and I’m positive people above are instructing him to play certain players. He would be much better suited as part of a coaching team under someone with experience Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's not the coach's fault the players don't care and senior management are taking magic mushrooms. The worst thing was seeing the smiles when they came out for the second half. At least try and look like you care instead of laughing at us mugs.
It does make you worry what the alternatives (who'd actually take the role) were last time and what they will be after this fiasco. Perhaps an ex-player from the Bulgarian second division who's never been to the UK ?
During the match - I was thinking of the time Spurs sacked Martin Jol at the break. (Think it was a European match)
He's got to go, simple as that. He is utterly, utterly clueless. Our squad is nowhere near as good as outsiders think but there is nothing there at all. You can tell how Coventry, QPR, Barnsley, all sorts of teams want to play. What the **** are we trying to achieve? If he is really instructing the centre backs to chip balls to the edge of the area then he's even worse than I'd thought. If he's not, then the players have no idea he wants them to be doing
Got to feel for Pozzo really. Hiring an unqualified puppet with close to zero experience has resulted in a shambolic clueless approach to matches. How was Pozzo supposed to anticipate that might happen.
Obviously he should be sacked, but why appoint him in the first place? Everybody could see it was stupid. Literally everybody. If they wanted pointless enthusiasm and nothing more then they may as well have put a Labrador in charge.
The labrador rejected us for the chance to run around Cassiobury Park and sniff other dogs. And who says they're daft dogs?
Just not sure changing the manager is the answer. We need to clearout most of the starting lineup at the end of the season, and start again. The players are just not hungry enough for promotion, and a new manager is not going to change that
It would if we got a high class coach in. Give him the rest of the season to sort things out and if we manage to go up, he's well placed to organise that. Same things apply if we don't. They have to abandon their 'coach is interchangeable' nonsense and pay the money.
We need a full rebuild in the summer under a new coach who is given time It's going to take 3 years to do that properly and mount a promotion challenge
Accepting that it will be a rebuild of FTs and loans with any limited funds spend being used to pay off Deeney & Gray ?
Pretty much although we have a couple of interesting U23s it would be worth considering bringing into the rebuild - Lo Everton, Cassidy etc
He’s gone. Nope no-one told me anything. It’s just that bleedin obvious. When the club is this quiet after a game, social media is quiet etc. Will most likely be announced tonight, or tomorrow or maybe Monday. He’s definitely gone though.
I think you're right that changing coach might not be what's required. Didnt pearson point to this fact on bt sport a few weeks ago, that at some stage the players have to take responsibility. But it would seem that Ginos assets are to be molly coddled and their egos massaged and the coach must take all responsibility for failure, Its come to a point that we are now such a laughing stock we cant get a decent reputable coach or players for that matter.
I was looking at Twitter and thought exactly the same. No posts from the club, no banal cheerleading from Cleverly etc. I can't wait to see who the next guy is, but he surely couldn't put out such a clueless performance as today.
