Because in my opinion, Reading are a more consistent side over the other two. Swansea and Brentford are good solid teams, but Reading I feel, might just go the distance over them.
You should have more faith Skyla. None of the teams above us are feeling confident, they are all having problems, eventhough most have had settled teams and coach. We have so much more room to improve than they.
Norwich's performances on Boxing Day in the Prem have been P7, D1, L6. Watford's: P7, W1, D3, L3. So a clear win for us would have been on the cards if we'd been playing in the Prem, which we're not. Hope that helps.
Just seems odd considering Swansea and Brentford are both higher in the table than Reading and in much better form - with one and zero losses in the last five games, respectively, compared to Reading's three losses.
Fair enough, and like I said it's just my own view. It will probably work out how you said in the end unless we tear the second half of the season a new one....
Very optimistic zz. Yes couldn’t agree more, we have more room for improvement but haven’t seen it since glimpses under NP. Since coming back after the first lockdown these whining ****s aren’t capable of rolling up their sleeves and getting on with it. I hope we start to play with a much more attacking philosophy but then you have to wonder where our goals are coming from. This squad needs a massive shake Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wouldn't consistency be factual rather than an opinion? Reading are 16th in the form table over the last 10 Championship games.
I would have guessed that you were pissed if you had not told us by the fact you have been positive about us for a change
Just had a look at their forum, one mentions new manager bounce and a witty reply of ‘they would be champions league winners then given how many managers they’ve had’......that is fair and funny(really hope we smack the cocky bastards)
I think we’ll look back on today in 4 weeks time and realize that this performance marked the beginning of the end for the Xisco era. Norwich 4 - 1 Watford
Remember Norwich away a few years back. We were late in the ground after boozing in town, found out we were a man down, conceded a few minutes later and were back necking cans on the train home by 4. Good times
So what do we reckon for the team: Deeney in...Perica too? Who will be the surprise injury/Covid victim this time.
That's nothing. My eldest boy went to Man City , went for a piss , and missed 3 goals . True story . Dat .
Not actually upset at Sierralta starting. Worried about the front 2 as ever and not sure what Perica needs to do - but we know the 2 starting are better when in a pair and not playing alone. Think we need to remember that all players will start with a blank page seeing as it’s a new man in charge. Apart from Deeney obviously...already been called a ‘legend’ so he need not worry. Happy enough with the shape IF Sarr can get forward enough. Surely he to be question marks about Hughes staying now?
Only one keeper on the bench? Time to start asking questions about Xisco’s suitability for this role.
Not too sure about that. We had 2nd best defence in the division before the Ivic debacle so there was a combination which worked.
4-4-2, back to QSF in our first premier league season except with Gray instead of Igahlo. Now that’s progress.
