I'm getting tired of having to remind you of this but WE AREN'T A BIG ENOUGH CLUB TO GET PENALTIES. m8.
This is a good question but I was under the impression that the strict testing regime was only a requirement in the PL and that clubs in all levels below just had to operate as any employer would.
Because inevitably they're in one large bubble at work, presumably with some staff. And there's the new strain of Covid which is more easily caught. It's almost bound to happen at some point, even if they follow the guidelines.
Then how the **** are we ever going to score ?? Ref's have more assists than any of our players so far this season. Continuing to bribe our way to promotion is clearly the best chance we have. m8.
This is true, but then presumably they must be mostly symptomatic so must be getting tested to even pick it up? Or once one player tests positive they have to test them all anyway, so even though the testing requirements aren’t the same as the PL they end up happening by default?
As its live on sky its a great opportunity for our players to put on a show which would help secure their next move!
If Deeney, Gray and Capoue are capable of putting on a show that secures a move in January then they certainly have my blessing to do it.
Missed a chance at Writing Deeney pen15. For that reason, I'm out. The good thing about this game is that it's in the evening. Which means I'm likely to have recovered from the Xmas hangover and halfway there to being too drunk again to give a F***
I actually think that we can do them, they are nothing special. Yes we are playing crap but we are decent at home and will hopefully get the new manager bounce.
You look at how Farke has been retained. You look at the backing he has had. You look at how they pick up promising young players and integrate them into their academy and first team. Then you look at us.
I get your point but Norwich's circumstances were a completely different going into this season. We were a Premier league club for the passed five years so had to cope with things financially, hence why we didn't invest. I would argue that we have also been able to pick up some quality young players with lots of potential also.
And why can every other club postpone games except us who have 2 or 3 players out on a rotation basis.
I think we will get Farked, Gray to start and do his best impression of a trampoline controlling a football. 1 shot on target from a foster goal kick
My son has nicknamed Gray “The Ghost” because the ball goes straight through him like he not there, unless of course he’s the human trampoline and it bounces straight back .
Will JP and Hughes be available for this one? Both have a good attitude, work rate and talent. And boy do we need those.
i always find dominos pizza goes straight through me, so from now onwards Gray shall be know by me as 4 cheese
Had the roles been reversed, some fans would be saying 'Norwich were in the PL for five years, of course they could retain players and get talented youngsters with all that money'. The twists and turns we try to make to absolve the owners of any responsibility for our position are amazing. Norwich are better run by a chef and her husband than we are by a 'football person'.
I was talking to a bloke at work on a video call last week who is a Norwich fan, who was telling me all about their academy and how they sign up extremely talented youngsters, but only the one they have fully assessed psychometrically to see if they are strong people, up for the fight. They do the same for recruitment to make sure they sign not only quality players, but ones that really want to play and win. I nearly threw the laptop across the room in a tearful fit of rage and jealousy.
No no no, they've got it all wrong. They should have read this forum for the last 8 years where it's been clearly stated that there's no need for an academy and if those players were any good, they'd be poached by the big boys.
