Right now it’s the forwards we have available in the squad. They’re the cards floppo has managed to muster for ivic to play. Sarr Pedro gray are not slow play these guys behind and they will create chances. Troy is capable of holding the ball up linking play winning headers the likes of Pedro need to play closer to him receive the knock downs. Perica is mobile enough to get in the box and get on the end of things. At this level success should be a threat maybe given an opportunity when fit we might get something from him. Murray a proven goal scorer at this level with experience should be an option from the bench. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If a player has talent and isn’t showing it, yes, dropping them is a wake-up call. I don’t really see the point in arguing that as it’s well known and a tactic managers have used for years?
Apologies Burnsy I responded to a post that someone has used a post of yours which has subsequently been deleted.
They don’t get complacent. This is why better players move on from tin pot Watford. Challenging themselves with other players wanting their place in the starting 11. Even at our level we have a big squad and you’d want everyone wanting to start. If you were on the subs bench today working hard in training and you also play in garners position and garner doesn’t get replaced by you in the next game you’d be questioning what the hell you have to do to get a start. It's good isn't it? I imagine GD, like me, has his feet up, with a beer, thinking our job here is done.
That's the best picture to describe our style of play. Painfully slow when it works, completely useless when it doesn't.
I like to think of us as the Costa Concordia, we’ll certainly be getting sold off as scrap if we don’t go up this season.
You could ask that question of any of the last four head coaches. The style isn’t pretty but the application from the players is even worse and has been for a few years now.
I’m just sad Travis Bickle is no longer on this forum. He was always the hardest one to convert. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chaps, turn off your score update notifications on matchdays. Stop caring so much about the shower of **** that is this club. It's much easier that way. Sort of nice to have my Saturdays back as well.
Just been watching MOTD. Hard to imagine how most of this Watford team could have played on equal terms with any of the eight teams on tonight.
I think some of them left early because there was an announcement telling everyone to stay in their seats at the end so the ground could be cleared in sections. I assumed some towards the back left early to avoid having to wait too long to get away. I was tempted, but held out in hope of a late equaliser. More fool me.
