I am sure there are some of our fans who would moan that they weren't given
tickets in the Royal enclosure if we reached the cup final again .
We also have some who would moan that even if they had tickets for the royal enclosure
they would be unhappy because they were not sitting next to the Queen .

The team wins 4-1 , could have been many more , and some still want to
take the negatives from it .

 

Wise words. Especially now that our main striker has come off injured and we could be without him for a while.

Just to correct the young man on the previous page, I’ve not gone full bedwetter.

Nowhere have I written any negatives about today. It was our best performance of the season.

I’m very happy with today.

We aren’t having so bad a season either. 3rd place, with only two losses, albeit with some fairly tepid, dull performances along the way.

However, as I try not to blow with the wind, I sounded a note of caution about whether today was the start of us finally fulfilling our undoubted potential, or whether we will return to the dirge of many away performances come Wednesday.

I also feel it’s perfectly fair to question why it’s taken us 16 games into the season to finally thrash an opponent.

But today has been a good day and I’m pleased.

I also got my Christmas tree this morning, so another reason to smile. It’s quite a large one this year, 15 feet or so, and the young lady cashier asked me if I was going to put it up myself. I had to politely tell her no dear, it’s for the living room.

All the bedwetters from last game seem to have gone quiet. Brilliant performance and as shown in the last game Troy is fit now and making himself a nuisance. Get players around him like we managed to do today and we look far better.

So glad we didnt sit back 2nd half. There were signs end of the first half that we were just gonna drop back which would have been unforgivable.

People need to chill. We will get there, it will just take time.

I'm calling you lot bedwetters for panicking and crying 13 games into a 46 game season. If anyone is being illogical it's those idiots calling for Ivic to be sacked.

We sold a few players, we have had a lot of our best players injured and somehow started the season with no left back. Circumstances have been ridiculously difficult. Yeah yeah we have some players that are too good for this league but it's a really unbalanced squad.

So yes, I am going to walk in here and take the piss out of those who dont recognise the above.

 

We win and play better and people moan and say the opposition had a weakened team anyway.

We don't win when we have a weakened team and people moan and say our coach isn't up to it or getting the best out of his players.

Wow. Posters unhappy after **** performances are now happy after a good performance. Baffling. Surely they should either be consistently happy or consistently unhappy irrespective of the performance ?

 

Yes, indeed, quite right - why should anyone here notice and discuss prolonged, repeated issues and or failings with the team? Disgraceful conduct really, and one single game is a far more representative sample than the previous 12, so do feel free to spaff your load straight up the wall immediately. All of us who don't want Watford to win another game ever again are feeling pretty annoyed right now, I can tell you.

 

You can be unhappy after a bad performance. But some of the comments after Bristol City, and those asking for Ivic to be sacked? Ridiculous.
