Another game and we look awful up top, unless Gray comes on and looks decent there's absolutely no chance we'll score 2 goals. Hard to see where one is coming let alone two.
Lack of a striker continues to be our undoing. Need to change at HT now, this is getting us nowhere and our good start is fading away each game
Moving the ball nicely in attack and plenty of decent crosses. We'll win this with a few goals in the second half. Barnsley are another very average side.
As expected, another borefest of a half. Toothless in attack, wobbly in defence and a midfield that still doesn’t look right. Ivic is starting to look like one of the most limited coaches we’ve had under the Pozzos.
We're better footballers playing badly, with lack of composure. Kiko needs to cross deeper. Once or twice is ok but he did it 4 or 5 times. Need Gray up front as soon as possible in second half. Garner for Capoue and maybe Hughes or quina
The only logical reason for us passing the ball around the back so slowly is because Ivic is telling them to. As I said on Shoutbox, on 32 mins when Sarr had a shot blocked in their box and Barnsley hoofed the ball miles up the pitch to Foster, we then took over a minute to attempt a pass back into their half. This while Barnsley were slightly rattled and we had played committed forward. Instead we passed the ball around the back until Barnsley regrouped and caught their breath, and then immediately surrendered possession when Troost hoofed the ball straight into touch. A better side immediately gets the back up the park. That has to be something the coach is encouraging. It makes no sense otherwise.
Can someone please tell Capoue to "STOP BEGGERING ABOUT" with the ball. The number of times we lose possession in midfield is pitiful. Oh and don't let Patrick Mower shoot, even I know that.
No point looking pretty but not having a shot or losing the ball eventually. Been there before with Vialli.
RAIN woman! I was drenched and my hair still is after finishing at 2pm in the dome. Beginning to wish I'd stayed there. COYH!
I'm not going to overly praise them, we've still looked shaky, but the game is there to get something out of
He was bad on the resumption and he clearly is still at that level. Needs to improve quickly,Chalobah is also apparently "pouncing off to Barnsley". What's wrong with Hampstead?
Are we? Capoue definitely has been a disappointment, but what on earth were we expecting from Chalobah and Cleverley?
Surprisingly another **** performance, yeah we had plenty of the ball but we did nothing with it not even a shot on target against an awful team like Barnsley.
