The only match we’ve actually won this season of course was without either Murray or Perica as an out and out centre forward, but used Pedro up top. Big if I know but if Sarr plays, we could go with him and Pedro up top. Sema too, although you suspect he will have to play left wing-back. Once again we seem to be selecting our side from a positive of weakness rather than strength. Who can we find to play rather than who must we leave out because we are so spoilt for choice v
Would absolutely love to see a front three of Sarr, Pedro and Suarez unleashed against the scum. Realistically though it'll be Quina, Pedro and Murray.
Agreed, we'll lose easily with that - Pedro aside the other to are old and ****, and weak and inconsistent/OTT
Jones has lost just one game since he came back to the club. The worrying thing is that he and his players will be up for it. They know what it means to their fans. It's s just another game to our losers who couldn't care less about the supporters. Dawson just described it as 'the next game' and had to be reminded it was a derby match.
Get that useless c*nt out of this club. Still absolutely hilarious some were praising his signing at the time.
They won't. The same few of us who have recognised the contempt with which our owners treat the the history and soul of our club, will be disgusted. One or two will turn, finally, as a team of internationals sits at home and our **** by design team gets humiliated. The rest will find ways to justify and rationalise as they always do.
Unless a miracle happens we will have the same team for Saturdays game as away at Weds, Perica getting sent off unfortunately gives Murray a lifeline, Garner could start and be better with better players around him, but its going to be nervy on Saturday to say the least! we need and want Sarr starting, one game please, please, please!
Accepting that we were going down before the Arsenal game actually made it slightly more bearable when the inevitable happened. I'm trying to do the same for this weekend but just the thought of losing to this shower is making me feel ill. It would be so much more of an embarrassment than the cup final and relegation combined. I will never forgive these owners or the fans who still support them if we lose this game.
I'd NEVER bet against us, even if it's printing money. Bet on a result elsewhere which damages us...perhaps, but not actively against us
I don't know, how much can we put on the result of one game? We could put a good team out, with all the players we've wanted to see all season, play really well only to be really unlucky and fail to get the win, or we could put out an absolutely **** team, ride our luck the whole way, and sneak a winner from somewhere. I also don't think Ivic will walk, certainly not yet anyway, even Silva took until the transfer window closing to get the hump
Saturday is going to be a f**king car crash, isn't it? Glad i'm working. Can't bring myself to watch that shower lose to the pi*ey vermin sh*tc**ts up the road. Ivic needs to get them bang up for it! Won't happen though, we saw last season how powderpuff they are. The thought of Glenn Murray, Craig Dawson, Nacho Pussetto & Toby Stevenson being anywhere near the squad on Saturday sends shivers down my spine. Not good enough. As IRB eluded to earlier, this is the beginning of the end for Gino Pozzo. The club released a fairly positive statement after our relegation which made most of us excited for the season ahead, it was all spin and propaganda. Gino is the luckiest man in the world there's no fans in the ground at the moment. Toxic beyond belief. Watford 0 Sh*t Town 1 Kill me now.
Things are certainly not going the right way. What can we actually do about it though? It’s kind of a perfect storm that this Luton game is played behind closed doors. There is no booing or worse online if it goes wrong. The equivalent is social media. Some have touted a banner. All the options seem pretty redundant without fans ITL, especially as it’d be the owners to blame this time (in my opinion). Open to ideas...
Agreed. We need some players with guts for this game, players who know what this games means to the fans. I look at the squad and it just makes me sad. Would actually like Deeney to be available, say whatever you want about him, he's been here 10 years, He'll know what we think of this lot.
I'm normally happy clappy pozzo but I think the really worrying thing, which you've alluded to, is the complete lack of squad depth (if you even count our first team good enough, which it isn't). The whole club stinks, honestly no idea why fit players aren't playing. How much is Capoue even worth at 32 or whatever he is ffs!?
Piss the league and all that wasn't it? Suarez/Sarr ripping the league apart with young Pervis becoming the next Watford legend.
