Sad thing is we used to be the opposite. Under Boothroyd and Malky etc we survived on shyte players but at least we knew they would actually try for 90 minutes, or at least indicate they a gave an ounce of **** about the club they played for.
Giraldi is a ******* cancer. He's the DoF and Recruitment Head rolled in one for both us and Udinese officially, but he may as well be a head coach as he has undermined them all since 2017. He takes notes on each coaches sessions, demands certain players to be played and will listen to players if they're unhappy with a head coach feeding player power. Gracia under cooked us badly on the tail end of really **** end to the league last year. The FA Cup run masked it. This followed through til he was sacked earlier in the year with a slack Pre-Season. QSF was the mistake that's condemned us tbh. We wanted defensively stability with a Championship level defence who are either late 20's or early 30's. We got thay but we looked ******* dreadful and didn't get results. Pearson before the break did miracles, culminating in the 3-0 win but cost us Deulofeu. We were better off losing and keeping Deulofeu. We've dug our own grave this season with long term neglect.
I will support watford and will be back in the future, but I'm not going to take time on my weekends and pay 600 quid a year to support an ownership who treats everyone apart from his DoF with thinly disguised contempt and arrogance.
