Pearson OUT

Even though we beat Liverpool I would be amazed if we did not lose at home to Man City. That is why its imperative to secure premier league status before the last two matches.

 

I’m just really looking at 7 games from the last 10 to pick up 12 points, which should hopefully be enough. Even though we had the great result today, City at home and Arsenal, Chelsea away would be bonus points if we get good results in these games.

I feel we have enough quality, even without Geri, to get 12 points from those 7.

Our target has to be 4 more wins. We should be good enough then to get this, however it’s sobering to think it’s taken us 28 games to win just 6!!

Having said that, Pearson has managed to get 5 of those in his 12 games. 4 more in the last 10 is achievable, and is actually probable if we reach the levels of today in the remaining games.

Thing is, after today, we can almost afford a point at palace. Not ideal but without this unexpected win, that would have left us needing snookers.

 

I was amazed we beat Liverpool. It was absolutely and completely not Watfordy. Who knows what will happen next. Just enjoooooooy the game.
