Huge win. To think we were dead and buried 5 games ago. 9 points after 17 games, and couldn’t score in a brothel. We have now given ourselves a great chance of survival. Loved the goal by Roberto he really did pull the pants down of a number of people on this forum. He has got his faults, but technically one if not the best player to put on a WFC shirt.

No, Pedro will start on Tuesday to get us through. No point risking him here.

    Ha, miracle worker indeed.

Doucoure and Capoue at their best, both immense.

Best performance I've seen for us from Masina, never knew he was capable of keeping up his concentration defensively for a full 90 minutes.

Well done to Troy today as well, if only we'd seen more of that over the last couple of seasons.

What a difference Sarr has made, he's a real menace also capable of class when it matters - he's showing why we signed him in the first place and the kinds of performances which impressed me for Senegal in the Afcon.

We deserve a huge amount of credit for that, but my god, Bournemouth are as bad as it gets.

2-0 down and they didn’t look like they even cared, the amount of times the just aimlessly gave us the ball through complete unforced errors. No urgency at all, no plan, shocking. If you can’t be up for a game as important for that then what can you be up for. We didn’t even look like we had to get out of second gear to win very easily.

    That was simply outstanding.

    Didn't give them a sniff.

Chalobah and Masina quadrupled their level of performance.

    Nigel Pearson, superman.

If anyone's pants are moved, it's those that thought Chalobah was finished.

Theres something seriously wrong with Bournemouth. Dawson and Cathcart were too comfortable. Confidence down the drain.

We’re staying up, you’re going down...(yellow sub) was lovely to hear!

What was the new song... presume it was about Sarr which had “Deeney in attack” in it?

    Class all round.

    MOM - Chalobah - which I didn’t think I’d say this season

Wow. Sheer enjoyment. Every last one of them put in a massive shift. Huge momentum and surge of confidence in the last number of games. Capoue is one hell of a player. Deeney is leading from the front. Lads coming off are disappointed, but that’s not a bad thing. Clean sheet, out of the bottom three and a five game unbeaten run. What’s not to enjoy?

Booked with my boys to come over to the Vic in March. Hugely looking forward to it. COYH

    Great win.

Muff were terrible. They had minimal quality in defence and attack. Most shocking was their lack of fight for the loose ball. They lost nearly every 50:50. We simply wanted it more.

The transformation is incredible. The whole team are working hard, getting behind the ball and closing down the opposition until the end.

Players who were jogging off when we were losing now look devastated to go off because they want to keep fighting.

The sign of a great manager is to look defensively strong as a unit, whilst being dangerous going forwards. We look just as likely to score 2 or 3 as we do to keep a clean sheet.

Eddie will now cry about their injury crisis, but the gulf in class today is pretty inexcusable from his perspective. It could, and should, have been 5 or 6.

That Sarr Deeney goal was pure ******* joy

that turn of pace as Sarr glitched past his man ( he is behind him and then inexplicably 5 years infront of him) and then a proper ******* hard smack from Deeney

What a win. The Bournemouth w**kers were absolutely terrible but it is incredible how Pearson has turned us around.

Fair play to Chalobah and Masina as well, both were excellent today and are getting better every time I see them play, and they were two players myself and a lot of others thought had no future here only 6 weeks ago.

Keep this level of performance, togetherness and commitment up and stay relatively injury free and we'll be nearer the top half than the bottom three by the end of the season. I'm greatly enjoying my humble pie, piece by piece.

Brilliant win today. Yes Muff were almost as bad as Norwich were, but you can only beat the team in front of you. Everyone played their part today. the fact Sarr had a great chance in the opening minutes that told the way the game was going to pan out. Got to feel a little sorry for the 20yo defender who gifted Sarr the ball to play in Doucoure' for the opener - but we have done such things in the past. Trivia: Their young keeper hand not conceded a goal until today. Shows the difference in class between us and scum too.

Deserved our lead at the break and bar Wilson's free kick we we're more than comfortable. Second half was about just getting the basics done and keeping them at bay. Under QSF, that would of ended as a draw. But we pushed forward and went for them, and Deeney scored, with moany "I want a move" Bobby P even getting in on the fun. Fan's were fantastic today - all I could hear at FT was the fans singing. They deserve it too - we have had to sit through some utter tripe this season, but since P and S came in - we have looked nothing like a bottom three side.

"The Pearson Effect" is still in swing, and we increase our unbeaten run to five games. Could not be any prouder today. Really wish I could of gone today - even more gutted now as to how easy it was in the end. Muff are not our rivals, but a few of their fans seem to dislike us for some reason. 4 points off them this season is pretty good. Will they go down? Don't know. But they look devoid of confidence and the injuries are not helping them. Can we stay up? I am still on the fence, because as good as we have been in recent weeks, there are still 16 games to go, and we are going to hit a sticky patch. What we have done though, is given ourselves a real chance now. Pearson and Shakey have done wonders, cannot give them both enough credit. Let's hope Citee do us a favour for once and beat Villa.

I don’t think his motivation has ever been in question. I am not sure physically he is made for the PL and as a result has suffered from a number of injuries. Before his latest injury I thought he looked good. A fully fit Pereyra is asset, no question.

Great goal by Pereyra - and he looked very pleased about it.

Chalobah and Masina have had plaudits here, but nobody has mentioned how dominant Dawson was

Pereyra scores a cracker as a late sub when the opposition are up the pitch chasing a goal and people suddenly in love with him. Funny.

    I aint fooled.
