Done up the ground (Particularly the executive stuff) Spent 30 million on a player. New contract for manager. Told fans they must attend or lose season tickets (its not like we'd get 20k for Barnsley at home in November..) Going to happen isn't it... Having said that a 1-0 defeat to Everton isn't the sure sign we are going down but losing to West Ham and Newcastle might!
Oh god, and this is the first season that the BBC's chief football writer Phil McNulty hasn't tipped us to be relegated. All the stars are aligning, lump on us playing Championship football next year.
Yay it's back! OMG that must mean we really are in the **** this season already. Can any Moderator please pin this? I think unless things change this could be a veèerrrrry long thread.
You’ve found the replacement for Z cars there! Everybody can sing it. Are you listening 1881? Want to hear this against West Ham.
Joao Pedro will arrive in January to save our season. Until then, I predict the doom mongers will type ten thousand doom laden posts...
It will come soon! I was on holiday last week, and then managed to run out of battery on my laptop at work and leave my power lead at work. But yes... it is not going to be too attractive so far, but easy to draw!
Both of your defeats were against clubs who won't finish in the top 6. That must be a huge worry. The other teams that have lost two have played a top 6 side. As for us we took West Ham apart but failed to convert our excellent chances. I'm confident of a good season. Trossard looks absolute quality. Watch out for him!!!
No arguments here, we're going down m8 unless our new coach is strapped to a hospital bed and sectioned.
Interesting- have you ever thought of sharing your thoughts on a Brighton forum? I remember a year when Carlisle were top of the league after 3 games, beating Chelsea and Tottenham, and they finished bottom. It will be a huge worry if we are in the bottom three after the third round of the FA Cup, but two weeks before August bank holiday weekend, I think we can all rest easy in our beds tonight.
Interesting - have you ever thought that this was a football forum for everyone to have there say regardless who they support ? After all this site gets more revenue the busier it gets. Have you thought about that Andrew ?
But if Leicester beat Chelsea tomorrow, we'll be off the bottom and on our way up again. Let's all back Filbert's boys. I'm frightened too, and in need of any small crumb of comfort.
I guess that might be good news for us for next week’s match, if West Ham conceded a hatful of chances as despite what a shambles we were last week Brighton only had 3 chances
I had not considered the finances. Glad to see you would rather spend your pennies with us than your own forum. Hopefully you will help grow it by posting other powerful insights. Perhaps next on naming conventions for forums and how to hit the jackpot.
Crystal Palace 2017-18. Lost first seven games. Finished 11th. West Ham 2018-19 Lost first four games. Finished 11th. We'll be fine even if it does mean we get in BFS.
If we get a result next week against the spammers and away at Newcastle the week after, I predict we will still be a PL side next season, just about
