Apart from SS Billy (spurs) I don’t really recall fans of genuinely big clubs coming on here trying to score pathetic points, I mean why would they? It’s always fans of tin pot clubs with ideas above their station and the equivalent of ‘small man syndrome’.

It makes it especially Ironic when it’s an Everton fan, their club is based in the arse crack of the country and yet they’re not even the biggest club in their own town! You couldn’t make it up.

The only thing Everton have that we don’t is more money, yet that’s actually fantastic for us as we get to sit up back and watch you piss it up the wall year after year, just to end up finishing a place or two above or below us.

We’re more than happy to keep picking up gems for a pittance and then off loading them to you as and when it suits us for a quite frankly ridiculous markup.

Listening to some Scouse tw@ on the radio larging Silva up and saying what an amazing job he's done has riled me.

All he's done so far is amazingly spent a lot of money. More than most of the league.

Had a shocking start to the season last year and is still anywhere near proving he's actually any good.

I have nothing against Everton supporters who mainly seem ok. I just want Silva to spectacularly fail.

 

Silva 9/1 as 1st perm manager to leave this season.

To be fair our owner does want to sell him to a 'much bigger club' that's why he's not interested in selling to Everton. He'd cost £60m I doubt you could afford him.

Must be annoying to know if Liverpool’s 1st team came in for Doucouré he’d be there in a blink of an eye. And with our blessings as it wouldn’t be a sideways step for the lad. Enjoy your season battling tinpot clubs for mid table mediocrity which is your clubs level. Also if Slither does bring some mediocre success to your mahoosive club he’s not got as far to travel this time when Manchester United come calling.

Everton have bid £70m plus McCarthy and Tosun for Zaha. It’s been rejected. They want £80m.

I think Everton are finding that moving so late in the window doesn’t work in your favour. Although slightly fear that if they abandon the Zaha move, it might free up funds for a bigger Doucoure bid.

I suspect Palace might relent and accept a massive bid tomorrow though for Zaha.

 

Zaha to Everton, Sarr to CP. Doesn't everyone see this ? This is the delay. He will only sign for us if CP don’t sell Zaha.

 

That 70m bid thing isn't remotely true. We've already agreed a deal with Palace for McCarthy separately

I don't necessarily think that the Zaha thing is to do with the timing, it's to do with the amount. We may have been hoping (as many teams do) that getting down to the wire would see Palace drop their asking price or the structure of the deal a bit. At the moment it doesn't sound like Palace are blinking.

FWIW I think it's far more likely that Everton get a deal done for Zaha than it is for Doucoure - Zaha appears to at least have an agreement with the Palace chairman that he can leave if their valuation is met. Don't think either are particularly likely though.

 

£70m plus Tosun equates to £50m...not surprised they rejected it.

Nah, Tosun is actually pretty decent, he's just far too slow. He'll do well somewhere else where the system suits him better - maybe not in England
