In fairness the club did advise that family areas would be 128/9 and 139/40 plus 538/9 and 540/41 although they did say at the front only but when trying to buy in row 37 in 140 it said family area for the 5 adults i was requesting to had to leave all those blocks alone and get 138
Absolutely. I love it when surveys like this one give you a text box to fill. I look forward to receiving the £15 match ball.
Yes, many seats appear to have been held back or block booked. When I bought for the semi in roughly the same area at 11pm on first night I had more choice than 11am this morning. I'm certain they are working on a plan to sell a certain % of each category during each phase so if you are B & C, I reckon you will have choice of all categories on the day. Pictures like 527 above are prevalent throughout our ticket area right now.
Yes it will be carnage. I think it would have been better if the Cat C had been split into different groups say 7-9 home match purchases can buy exclusively for 1 day, 4-6 then becomes eligible the next day, 2-3 the day after etc. just to give the system less strain-and it's a fairer way to distribute rather than having those with 2 credits competing against those with 9..... (though I might be biased as I am marooned on 9 credits ).
Those with 2 credits would have no chance so therefore it's not fair at all. I personally think a Hunger Games style event set over several days to get all remaining tickets would be fairest.
I'm just hoping that one of my 35 fake overseas applicants win the overseas "never heard of Watford Fc until last week" raffle.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if people have done this, not entirely sure how, if at all, the club are combatting this.
Other ideas I had heard were priority if you've gone to the Semi Final, or if you had previously brought a cup ticket in previous seasons.
I was wondering about this too. I applied for the overseas ballot but received an email informing me that because I have a buying history I'm not eligible. I've lived in Italy for 20 years and get back for matches a couple of times a season. I don't really mind being excluded from the overseas ballot, I'll be fighting for a ticket with the other category c plebs, but I hope the ballot tickets go to real fans rather than people who just have a passing interest in Watford and fancy a day out at an FA cup final.
But the way it is someone with 9 credits has the same chance as someone with 2 which doesn't seem fair......
Omens are good, im in same seats as the semi. Ive not washed my pants and my lucky Almen Abdi shirt is folded away, unwashed and waiting for May 18
For the semi-final, then I understand the consternation towards Ticketmaster - they should have been far better prepared given the 24hr windows available to each eligible group. But I don’t see how they make allowances for today?
This time there are no charges added so that is good. Also, the queuing has already calmed down and it is easy to get on and buy. And it seems they are holding back large amounts of tickets and drip feeding availability. They also plan to sell some Club Wembley level tickets right at the end.
I would have loved this, i reckon i have 11 home and 9 away matches in last 4 years, but crucially i think i borrowed a friends st for 2-3 home games... so end up in C along with someone who went to 2 games. Cant help but feel nervy now. I was at Bristol City in anglo italian cup with about 40 fans, plymout, carlisle and i think about 60 other grounds, but feel very twitchy. Is there anything concrete about the tier 2/club wembley allocation amounts of seats?
