I just checked the ticket office website and they're still selling tickets for the Southampton match. They've had a week to get this in order.

It's a bit unusual for them to be this slow these days. You'd have thought as they've got to corral all the season ticket holders through the buying process they'd want to get things going asap.

Selling VRS2 VRS3 Singing section & VRS4 as well apparently so VRS1 and part of 2 must be home fans? however some are saying front rows will be netted as well as the side so perhaps we have the whole Vic road stand???

I would guess you have the whole stand due to segregation issues, BUT restricted to the minimum allocation we have to give you. So while it holds over 4,000 it can only be segregated in the middle meaning 2,300 tickets on each side. We have to give you 3,100 minimum for a cup match so that would be spread across the stand hence the netting at the front and side.

We don't want more away fans at the game than there needs to be - would rather empty seats!!

    This bit is good:

Rookery buyers should note that seats in Block RS2, Rows G-X, Numbers 77-104 inclusive (just under 500 in total) have been designated as a ‘Singing Section’ for this tie – and will be marked accordingly when purchasing online. If you’re a season ticket holder within this block of seats (G77-X104 inclusive) and do not wish to be in the Singing Section, please call us to purchase alternative seats

The club taking the opportunity to move the singing section to the back and more central in the Rookery. Hope it's a test run with plans to do it full time from next season.

Thought the VRS holds 5700? Looks like there's going to be home fans in VRS1 ?
No one seems to know the actual allocation?
Anyway am in VRS2 E & happy with that but rumours of loads of netting front 7 rows might mean am front row :)

The netting at the front of the away stand is there to ensure our fans nearest to your lot don't have to smell you dirty soap-dodging south Londoners.

Hahaha more like scared of being outsung again ! I keep forgetting that Watford is a posh area I must remember not to piss around the place ;)

I think it'll be all Palace in the VR end but with front the rows netted off - meaning they only get the minimum allocation we are required to give. Good

    Couldn't agree more.
And we shouldn't serve them alcohol in the ground.

We don't cos the concourse is too small.

It used to, but capacity had to be reduced due to the facilities. I think it's max 4700 now.

And we should smear dog sh1t on the seats

Good plan. My dog can provide enough for about 50 seats by the day of the game. Are others joining in? Are we all going to get to the ground early to prepare the stand, like when they ask the fans to help clear the snow. When are the club announcing arrangements for this.

Liquid animal waste fertiliser sprayer could probably cover the whole stand from the goal mouth. Smell would be indistinguishable from normal smell of south Londoners.

Artificially lower the ceiling so they cant do any stupid bouncing?

Ideally, turn the VR stand around by 180 degrees.

I think the alcohol ban/lower stand roof/dog sh1t on seats strategy is viable. Could I also suggest that we don't give away sand castle flags to Watford fans to wave as I seem to remember we did v Palace at Wembley last time? As soon as I saw them I knew we'd lose

It will be like when fans mucked in to help clear snow off the pitch.

Go and empty out a few red bins in Cassio Park and receive a free bacon sarnie and cup of tea. Washing of hands recommended.

  27. I so hope the 3100 tickets is true

My 2 dogs produce copious amounts of dog sh1t, and I’m willing to add veg oil to their dinner for a day or two to ensure maximum smearyness if it helps make this bit true as well

As a person who sits in the Family Stand, I'm rethinking this whole plan. I mean, it will be fun for the day, but then, the rest of the season is going to be quite unpalatable for me.

Can we just bang on the windows of their coach and call them names?

I'm in. My dog is 50kg and his dumps are the size of a Basketball (not literally obviously otherwise the poor fella would be in some pain) and reckon I could smear a whole row with one

    Excellent.

    It's a go.

Moog, can you provide your seat number & let's crack on.

(So that smearers can avoid your seat of course.)

Should we just do the left side of the stand where the opposition fans usually sit and ensure we clean it REALLY well after palace have been?
Is that a fair compromise Moog?

  34. wfcmoog

    wfcmoog Tinpot

I suspect there are a few on here who'd smear mine regardless of the palace plan.
