Sounds like Tommie Hoban has picked up a bad knee injury according to the BBC site. Carried off in a lot of pain .
I was actually making fun of nascots wording in his post, but at the end of the day it was just a joke.
Has anyone ever read any theories as to why some players get injured every other game they play (e.g. Andy Carroll) while others can play every game for years with no problem (e.g. Steve Palmer)? Has it ever been pinned down to some physiological reason? It has to be down to something more than luck.
One player who might not be coming back to the Vic! https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...ford-and-feels-at-home-in-italy-with-udinese/ He even admits the Premier league was tough for him fitness wise so cannot be surprised at the lack of games.
Kieran Holsgrove has returned to Watford from his loan at Tamworth. It seemed strange that he'd made his debut the day he joined The Lambs (19/1/19) but was not named in any squad lists thereafter. The management team were sacked the day after Holsgrove joined. A little digging and I found it was reported on January 25th that he'd returned to Watford. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sp...-news/tamworth-fc-legend-gary-smiths-15730200 Holsgrove played 83 minutes while at the club.
Loan update. Goals from Filip Stuparevic (x2), Dimitri Foulquier, Luis Javier Suárez and Matheus Aias from Friday 15th, Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th of February; https://twitter.com/LuridDreamer/status/1097857156735471617
I'll be honest, I don't know. I can't remember too many times goals have been scored in such a cluster so it could well be.
After speaking out about the number of penalties the Old Firm get compared to everyone else in Scotland and the pair getting decisions going their way generally, Daniel Bachmann has tonight been sent-off against Rangers in the FA Cup replay. From Killies twitter feed... 24' 1-0: Red card for Dan Bachmann after an off the ball incident as a corner waited to be taken. The Killie keeper is furious with the decision. 25' 1-0: Change for Killie Conor McAleny is replaced by Jamie MacDonald following the red card. Nobody is quite sure why the Killie keeper was sent off. Rangers also unable to pinpoint what happened... 24' RED CARD: Bachmann, the Kilmarnock goalkeeper, is sent off after an incident in the penalty area before a corner was played into the box. 1-0. (I await a video to appear shortly of Bachmann grave robbing, shoplifting & committing a heinous crime against a 'Gers player).
Concerning that Cucho is now only making the bench at La Liga's bottom club. Not the season anyone was hoping for.
Pretty sure he is in the top 5 most minutes played for any player his age in the top 5 European leagues. His lack of goals is a bit of a concern, but it is really hard to judge him properly in that Huesca side as they look genuinely abysmal. They have a team full of Amrabats who have absolutely **** all idea what to do when they get into the final third.
Wow. The standard of refereeing up there is even worse than down here, that red card is a complete joke: https://twitter.com/Cjnovo992/status/1098316339104616449?s=19 Even worse, Rangers player got away with this: https://twitter.com/CelticNation67/status/1098319110520344584?s=19
I think you may be being a little premature that he "..is now only making the bench at La Liga's bottom club." His last 10 games (latest first) and if he started, minutes played etc. SUBSTITUTE - played 18mins. v. Ath. Bilbao SUSPENDED - played 0mins. v. Girona STARTED - played 77mins. v. Valladolid STARTED - played 89mins. v. Real Sociedad STARTED - played 61mins. v. Atl. Madrid STARTED - played 90mins. v. Leganes STARTED - played 85mins. v. Betis STARTED - played 90mins. v. Valencia STARTED - played 90mins. v. Villarreal STARTED - played 90mins. v. Real Madrid
Seems like in Scotland if you complain loud enough you get a decision in your favour .. People reckon all the refs are Rangers or Celtic fans which doesn't help .
They have to appeal that - that's just pathetic. A comment by the live text commentary team on the BBC said someone must've had a word in the ref's ear. That makes it even worse! The old adage of decisions even themselves out over a season is also made null & void in this instance because Kilmarnock ain't getting to a Cup final this season no matter how many red cards their opposition get!
