Better than a stabbing, I suppose, but itself really rather dangerous as a result of a beating.

Cowardly scum like this only wade in when they know they're either safe due to sheer numbers or that they are putting in the boot on an already down and half dead rival.

    Lowest of the low.

Hope the fans hurt recover soon.

I was right in line & it certainly didn’t look a corner.

However, there was a considerable passage of play before the goal.

Gracia is unusual among current managers for having dignity & maturity. He might have noted the incident & moved on.

Sssssilva is a manchild in comparison.

I can see the argument for getting evidence, but when you just put it up for likes and retweets, it's utterly despicable and the very worst of Social Media. People who sew a tragedy and turn it to feed their own ego.

Great result from a fairly poor game. Holebas my MOTM and I thought Gray played well. From where I was sitting, it wasn't a corner that led up to the goal - which makes the victory even sweeter! :D

As for the attack on Watford fans, IF they were being mouthy they were not being very sensible. IF they were walking between the coaches and the cemetery wall that's not too sensible either. But to be physically attacked is out of order.

Either way, I've always been puzzled why the coaches have been moved up the road alongside the cemetery and are no longer directly outside the away exit, where fans can get straight on them without having to walk alongside the majority of Watford fans as they head towards town rather than towards the hospital.

great result, Javi got his three subs spot on today

Not to many chances, I think they would have been happy with a draw at the start

Safe and only two or three results off a top 10 finish

I've walked in between coaches and the wall up and down the league's as it's easier than walking a against the majority of footfall towards the town centre

I've never had anyone so much as call me a name and I've even enjoyed some "You deserved that, we were rubbish," type comments from fair minded fans.

I'd find it quite shocking if I were kicked unconscious and one of my fellow fans victim blamed me for walking close to their coaches as even partial justification for the assault

The intensity in the ground much greater than normal. Felt like a derby game.

I thought our performance was very good in a scrappy, in your face match.

The back four were seldom rushed & Doucs & Capoue were competitive & were stronger than the opposition.

Sema was fine. He was tidy & got stuck in.

Deeney’s passing in the first half was frustratingly poor but he picked up, unsurprisingly, perked up when he got a proper partner in Gray.

For MoM, I would select the crowd. Loud for about 80 mins in the 1881 & even the GT mob were rattling their jewellery.

We are eighth in probably the best football league in the world why moan about the football, the opposition can't be expected to turn up and let us win! Today was much much better than against Burnley!

I didn't see the fight but was walking past the coaches when it must have been happening as there was a surge of fans towards the cemetery. Watford fans were sticking their heads into the coaches and shouting and swearing. Really not sensible, quite a few Everton fans were getting irate and coming off the busses. Saw a Watford fan knock an everton fans cap off his head and tell him to pick up his skull cap.

These idiots cause problems for other fans, I was with my 8 year old nephew and really did not enjoy having that going on around us.

Problem is that among the fair-minded fans there may be a thug or two, whichever team we face and among our own fans as well. I'm not victim-blaming at all if you read my post properly, I'm just saying it wasn't sensible. I wouldn't do it. With Everton doing badly and this fixture a bit spicy because of the Silva factor it's even more reason to keep clear from that area. Remember Millwall only a few weeks ago? Even if they 'started it' there were plenty of Everton fans ready to join in.

On a more palatable level, I thought Harry was excellent today. He kept the energy up in the Rookery in the second half & continually rallied the GT.

He seemed to tiptoe behind Ssssnakey in the first half & then stuff an inflatable snake down a drainage hole in the second.

    Eccentric & inimitable.

There didn't seem to be many fans leaving early, which was good to see, It showed how much the fans wanted the win by the numbers that stayed behind at the end!

Don't want to be a Debbie Downer but I don't think booing Richy was necessary at all. Even if he does dive... Afterall, he has done nothing wrong off the field and i'm sure he's still very close to our own players playing on the same pitch. It's not nice to witness your own mate getting booed by the fans you are playing for.

Either way, we got a fantastic result and 4 points ahead with a game in hand!

Holebas was superb today (apart from the idiotic pass to Decoure on the edge of our box in the first half). The proper corners were delivered well, had a couple of shots on goal and totally mastered Richarlison. Maybe they never got on last year, but he seemed personally determined to make Richarlison look poor today. I also do not understand the booing of Richarlison. He was good for us for 12 games, left for a monster profit. He does not owe us anything. It's the midfield though. Sema and Hughes lost the ball and rythem of attacks too often. Although Delefou did not look like testing the keeper, when he went off their fall back was able to push on in the last 15 of the match. I thought Keane looked half the player he was at Burnley.

Yes, and I think that is a problem for us in lots of matches.
But, to be fair, Ssssilva threw on three new forwards and they tried to throw caution out the window and go for it, as teams usually will when a goal down and running out of time. Plus we were treated to a Lee Probert special demonstration on how to be duped and one-sided. It seemed an Everton player only had to fall over for them to get a free kick. Maybe Watford should adopt the same tactic.

Had no intention of going to that until my mate said a ticket was available and you're coming like it or not.

Best atmosphere we've had for a long time, the 1881 boys were going for it all game, huge applause for that. Tried that beer token thing today that you buy before the game and hand over at half time so no queuing, worked superbly. The game itself featured two pretty cr*p teams, (on current form), and to be honest I think we could have played until midnight and Everton wouldn't have scored.
Silva got it in the neck big time but took it well, so that's me done with him, we move on now. Richarlison was an utter embarrassment with the theatrics, Holebas had him tucked nicely in his pocket until Walcott came on and they switched small nipple boy to the other side. When he was subbed off soon after it was worth the ticket price alone, (£0).

Pretty dire game saved by the atmosphere. The Everton fans were some of the quietest I've seen at the Vic for a while, but in their defence they had little to shout about.

    Silva sacked this week.

    I agree upto a point.

The play acting of Richie & Tosun was excruciating. A brief physical contact & they were both rolling around as if mortally wounded. Fair play to boo cheating like that.

Splendid cameo from the Everton doc.

Pranced across the pitch like a tracksuited Charles Hawtrey.

Great day at the Vic. Well worth the trip. Good atmosphere, full on effort (from most players), tension throughout and their poor manager got some stick from our fans. To top it all, my son got his picture taken with our good manager.

I only get to come over every so often and it has been two seasons since I was at the Vic. Before that I got over twice a season. The Vic looks in great shape. Incredible amount of tourists in the crowd. At one stage I thought there were more Italians than locals. All good though.

I saw that there was some trouble after the game. There was a group of about 50 or so Everton fans marching aggressively up Vicarage Road towards town. Looking for trouble. Surprised the police allowed them to.

As for the match, result great, but we were guilty of some sloppy play. At this stage, it is not bothering me.
