It'll be a glorious rout with cut throat football as we put them to the sword with flair football. The spray tanned shirtless Geordies crying into their beers on the coach back to Hell a site to behold on MOTD.
Kabasele out injured. Prodl out injured. So who can we turn to? Javi has the answer..... “Britos is ready. He is training with the team for a long time and I think he is ready.”
Looks like Penaranda will be available for selection tomorrow. Would be nice to see him named on the bench in place of Okaka.
I don't like to talk about "must-win" games at this point of the season, but this is a game where we certainly cannot afford to draw or lose. I hope that Javi has learned from the Chelsea Debacle and we see some bounce back after the dismal showing on Boxing Day. Hope Deeney has played his last game for the club and that Gino has already got a deal lined up to ship Sema out to the Belgian 2nd tier, where he belongs. Looking forward to this one!
And Hughes maybe? Although cannot see him getting in ahead of Quina or Cleverley. Wilmott or Britos for the bench then? Hopefully the former!
We signed him, couldn’t get a work permit , got a work permit , got injured , 2 years later might start. Anything less than a hatrick on his first run out will be a disappointment after that length of time. However looking forward to seeing if he is actually real Think the whole game will be played 30 yards out from their goal with 10 Newcastle players sat in their box , with the very occasional counter attack. Could literately be any score , could see us winning 5:0, could see us losing 0:1 Going with 3:0,
Just the sort of ungrateful, entitled so-called 'fan' we don't need or want. Whether genuine or posted 'for a laugh' (yeah, really hilarious...) this type of post contributes nothing.
There's only about 12 of us left who use this forum so fortunately anything said here means **** all.
Miguel Britos... Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long, long time. The answer to our defense prayers was in front of our eyes the whole time.
A bit off topic here, but are any of you guys registered to the BBC Football comments? There are a few Watford fans there that put some great quotes after each game. Just wondering is all.
Anyone with an iplayer login has a registration. There might be a number of good comments, but there's always 25% comments about watfords loans and managers fired, 35% comments from rival fans of the team we just beat gloating, and in the case of a team like newcastle 39% along the lines of "ashley destroyed this club". You can only see 10 comments at a time, theres a great deal of inane trolling and it usually descends into racism accusations or how biased the bbc are.
Britos actually might be the right guy for marking Rondon. Bloody hell I can’t believe I just said that. 4-0 to Newcastle
