I would guess we are at the lower end in the league, although more expenditure doesn't always equate to high quality.
Vydra not going to Leeds anymore. I’m sure it’s just the nostalgia speaking but I wouldn’t mind him for less than £10m. Also Craig Dawson is West Brom lower their asking price.
Don’t knock him. Got Venezia out of Serie C at 35 and helped them to 5th last season. Bring the boy home
As nice as it would be to see Vydra back in the yellow and black I’d rather we go after Gabbiadini, would probably cost 12-15 mill and proven scorer at this level
Interesting one. On record as looking for a Premier League move, and wage demands which very few in the Championship could or would meet. Derby need to move him on rather more urgently now Leeds are out of the game. Not sure he's really what we need, but it wouldn't completely surprise me...
Reo Griffiths and Marcus Edwards are on there way out of spurs.... Both are British ( locally aswell ). Could do worse and being obviously U/21 so would essentially be a free spot/s in the squad... thoughts ??
Griffiths looks like he may be going to Lyon and has had the likes of PSG & Real Madrid watching him (means nothing in truth) while there's little pointing to where 'Mini-Messi' Edwards is going.
Pochettino literally compared Marcus Edwards to Messi, Spurs fans were frothing at the mouth when his name was mentioned, how funny to see they've decided to chuck him out on his ear now. Never listen to fans giving what are supposed to be genuine opinions on youth players at their own club, they have no perspective whatsoever.
Never listen to fans that are frothing at the mouth when something didn’t happen? I enjoy the things you post here so this piqued my interest but I found no evidence on the internet of what you’ve said? That’ll do for me.
looks like Angella is struggling to get a place in the Udinese squad. Last day of the transfer dead line and we still need a CB, you just know that he'll be here on loan
Thanks mate, same vice versa. http://www.skysports.com/amp/footba...ikened-to-lionel-messi-by-mauricio-pochettino
If he was any good, he'd be in the Premship already. Warnock knows him inside out and won't take a punt so I think he knows
Max Meyer going to Palace... Great signing in terms of the player himself and for a club their size. And then I see they are paying him 170k a week! In all seriousness, they are a club of similar stature and income to ourselves but we could never stretch to those wages. With every passing season, I’m getting more and more convinced that we are going to need a new financial backer involved with the club at board level to compete.
I'd rather we didn't. Look what happens to clubs who go down and have to pay crazy wages still (Sunderland and Villa good examples). They are genuinely struggling to survive as a club. I'd much rather we stuck to a more sensible budget and if we do go down, we'd be more prepared for it (like Burnley a couple of years ago).
Christ, 170k a week. I'm assuming that makes him by far their highest paid player? If so, then maybe that'll be what finally convinces Zaha to leave - and without him, I think they'll struggle. Regardless of what other decent players they have, they're still hugely reliant on Harry's mate. I double checked this stat to make sure it's still accurate (it is) - they haven't won a league game without Zaha since September 2016 (around the time of our wins away at West Ham or home to Man Utd).
The way Palace are spending and offering stupidly high wages, I am guessing they are already spending the Zaha money.
